Father Ker is generally regarded as the leading authority on Blessed John Henry Newman, on whom he has published the universally acknowledged definitive biography.

Henle Professor of Philosophy at Saint Louis University. She received a B.A. in classical languages from Grinnell College in 1969, a master’s degree from Harvard University in 1971 and a Ph.D. in medieval studies and medieval philosophy from Cornell University in 1975. She taught at Oberlin College, Virginia Tech and the University of Notre Dame before coming to Saint Louis University in 1992.
