Finty Williams is an actress best known for her roles in the films Gosford Park, The Importance of Being Earnest, Mrs Brown, Ladies in Lavender and Macbeth as well as a number of other British films, many alongside her mother, Judi Dench. Finty’s father was the actor Michael Williams. On the TV she voices the title role in the animated series of Angelina Ballerina and has been in Born and Bred, Cranford, Wives and Daughters, Tales from the Crypt and Doc Martin amongst many others. On the stage she’s performed all over the county including at The Globe and The National. Jeremy Dyson is a writer best known as a member of the BAFTA winning comedy group, The League of Gentlemen alongside Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith. He co-wrote The League of Gentlemen including a radio series, 3 television series, numerous tours, a feature film, a Christmas special and three 20th anniversary episodes. He co-created the play Ghost Stories with Andy Nyman which ran in the West End and on tour for many years as well as at The Sydney Opera House in Australia. He co-created the BAFTA-nominated television series Funland, which aired on BBC Three and was script editor and writer on BBC1's BAFTA winning The Armstrong & Miller Show. Jeremy has written several books including Bright Darkness: Lost Art of the Supernatural Horror Film, two collections of short stories entitled Never Trust a Rabbit and The Cranes That Build The Cranes. Brigit Forsyth is an actress who’s best known for playing Thelma Ferris in the classic BBC comedy Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads and Helen Yeldham in the ITV drama Boon. Since December 2013, Forsyth has appeared in the BBC comedy Still Open All Hours. Richard Pitman is a retired jump jockey best know for coming second to Red Rum at the 1973 Grand National whilst riding Crisp. Richard rode 427 winners in his career, including Lanzarote in the 1974 Champion Hurdle. He won the King George VI Chase at Kempton Park Racecourse twice, the Whitbread Gold Cup and the Hennessy Gold Cup. He joined the BBC TV racing team as a commentator and pundit in 1975 and stayed with the BBC 35 years. Richard has bred, owned and sold racehorses and has written seven racing novels and five non-fiction books. Michael Simkins is an actor and writer who has appeared the films V for Vendetta, Wilde, The Iron Lady with Meryl Streep as well as Mike Leigh's Topsy-Turvy. He has appeared in more than 100 plays and musicals, at places like the National Theatre and the RSC as well as on the fringe and the West End. He’s been in the musicals Chicago and Mamma Mia and he’s made countless TV appearances including This is Going to Hurt, Finding Alice, Silent Witness, The Crown, Endeavour, Harlots, Grantchester, Eastenders, Lewis, The Bill, Casualty, New Tricks, Judge John Deed, Green Wing, Brookside, My Family, Foyle’s War and A Touch Of Frost, among many others. His first book, his memoir of breaking into the acting profession, has become required reading for drama students everywhere. Ben Aaronovitch is a multiple Times best selling Author best known for his Rivers of London series, of which the latest, Amongst Our Weapons, is out now. Mel Hudson is an actress, comedian and writer. She was part of the double act Hudson and Pepperdine, with Vicki Pepperdine and wrote and starred in BBC Radio 4's The Hudson and Pepperdine Show.
