MLB players not happy after latest proposal (6/9)
Today's word of the day is 'maladminister' as in Nationals pitcher Sean Doolittle took to Twitter to air out what he felt was wrong about how MLB was handling the negotiations so publicly. He said he wanted do this to protect players futures, but I wonder why those same players gave up so quickly on the Amateur Draft (0:06)? Cubs president of baseball operations Theo Epstein says he needs to be better as an executive when it comes to hiring more diverse people (11:03). So You Wanna Talk To Samson!? Are MLB/MLBPA negotiations a failure?
Today's word of the day is 'leverage' as in who has the upper-hand in the MLB negotiations with the MLBPA. The negotiations have been public and they have not been pretty. Why is that (0:06)? NFL stars get together and release meaningful PSA. It's something you need to watch. What do you think Roger Goodell thought about that (18:33)? NBA votes 29-1 on the proposed return to play in the NBA. The Portland Trail Blazers were the one team to vote against it, and I respect why (29:02). The Drew Brees apology train has left the station (6/4)
Today's word of the day is 'inevitable' as in the Drew Brees apology was seen from miles and miles away. A day after Brees' comments on kneeling during the anthem he released an apology. The NFL has a big issue ahead when it comes to peacefully protesting during the National Anthem and what's going to happen when football comes back (0:06). So You Wanna Talk To Samson!? Someone asked me about Florida State head coach Mike Norvell being called out by his star player Marvin Wilson on comments surrounding the team. The team held a team meeting this morning to try and fix things before they were too late (16:00).
