Today’s word of the day is ‘You’re fired’ as in see ya as in you’re terminated as in you can’t work here as in Jared Porter has been fired as the New York Mets General Manager for sending an unsolicited penis photo to a female reporter back in 2016. That wasn’t all he did. He also sent here 62 unanswered text messages over the course of a few months. ESPN ran a story, the Mets released a statement and the next morning owner Steve Cohen announces the firing. Porter was hired as the new GM on December 13, 2020. (21:15)Tennessee fires Jeremy Pruitt. What does it mean to be fired by cause? The school also fired 10 other people in the football program.
