His mother's initial lawsuit got thrown out. But a federal appeals court ruled a lawsuit against the officers who killed him could move forward because sovereign immunity did not extend to shooting an unconscious suspect. I'll be talking to one of the lawyers from the Mississippi Center for Justice who is fighting to change it.  The only black Duke University volleyball player was called racial slurs during a match against Bringham Young University.
