Ep. 18 What role does food play in fibromyalgia treatment? Part 2
Text Dr. Lenz any feedback or questions In this second episode, Dr. Lenz looks at 3 studies showing the impact food has on fibromyalgia. The first study used a healthy Whole Foods plant-based diet and showed a marked reduction in symptoms. The second study was randomized to a typical Western diet and a Whole Foods plant-based diet and showed significant improvement within 6 weeks. The last study used meal replacement shakes to achieve impressive weight loss and also improvement in symptoms that went beyond the expected weight-bearing joints.
