Less than 50% of the Fortune 500 have a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or Chief Security Officer (CSO) listed on their executive team. Why is that? SIEM vendors have taken advantage of these InfoSec data FOMO tendencies, however, and are making a killing charging a premium for storage - even when the storage in question is your own on-prem hardware.
