Episode 149: Heather Pollington: From Hollywood to Folk Tales, Jonathan Pageau, God, and Church Art
In this episode of More Christ, I sit down with artist and illustrator Heather Pollington to explore the relationship between faith, story, and beauty.Heather’s work draws deeply from the Christian imagination. We talk about fairy tales, symbolism, and the patterns woven into creation itself. Stories like Rapunzel and Snow White aren’t just old tales. They carry meaning. They shape how we see the world. And they can open us up to something deeper. This conversation is really about learning to see again. In a world that often feels flat and stripped of meaning, we reflect on how beauty, story, and tradition can reawaken our sense that the world is not empty. It is full of meaning, and it ultimately points us to Christ. We also speak about imagination, the role of the artist, and what it might look like to recover a richer and more rooted Christian culture today.Topics we cover include the place of fairy tales in the Christian life, symbolism in art, beauty as a path to truth, imagination and faith, and the role of the artist in our time. You can find Heather’s work herehttps://www.heatherpollington.comAnd on Instagram herehttps://www.instagram.com/heather.pollington/We will also be gathering in person on Saturday 27th June 2026 in Kildare for a day of talks, music, and pilgrimage called Finding God in Nature and Culture. It will be a day shaped around prayer, story, and place, including a short pilgrimage to St Brigid’s Cathedral and the Well, along with contributions from Heather, myself, and others. If you would like to join us, you can find details herehttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/finding-god-in-nature-and-culture-tickets-1988447493982?aff=oddtdtcreatorIf this resonates, consider subscribing and sharing it with someone who is searching for something deeper.More Christ is about exploring the fullness of the Christian life, bringing together the true, the good, and the beautiful in all things.

In this conversation, I sit down with Abdu Murray to discuss his powerful new book, Fake ID: How AI and Identity Ideology Are Collapsing Reality—and What to Do About It.We’re living in a moment where truth itself feels unstable. He explores how AI and identity ideology are reshaping our understanding of truth, personhood, and meaning, and why recovering a grounded, biblical vision of reality is more urgent than ever.In our conversation, we explore:How AI is changing the way we think about truth and knowledgeThe deeper crisis of identity in modern cultureWhy “post-truth” thinking is so dangerousWhat it means to be truly human in a technological ageHow the Christian vision offers clarity, hope, and groundingThis is a conversation about reality, identity, and ultimately—truth.Get the book:Book website: https://embracethetruth.org/fake-id/Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Fake-ID-Identi...Connect with Abdu Murray:Website: https://embracethetruth.org/In this video, I refer to: • Muslim converts to Christianity after read... • How Ai Slop will Spark the Next Human Rena... • Why Disney Can't Get Snow White Right (Jon... • What is The Matrix? | The Matrix [Open Matte] • The Matrix Revolutions (5/5) Movie CLIP - ... • Learn Where Heaven and Earth Overlap • Human dystopia • The myth of Icarus and Daedalus - Amy Adkins • THERE ARE...4..LIGHTS!!!!

Episode 146: Christian Baxter and George Harrell: The State of TLC and Christians after Christendom
In this episode of More Christ, I’m joined by Christian Baxter (Yours Truly Podcast) and George Harrell (Kepler Education & The George Buchanan Forum) for a wide-ranging and deeply thoughtful conversation about truth, tradition, education, and the rebuilding of Christian culture in our time.Christian’s work through the Yours Truly Podcast is marked by long-form, searching conversations about meaning, symbolism, faith, and the crisis of modern identity. George brings his experience in classical Christian education and his leadership in forming young people through the great tradition — helping students recover intellectual depth, moral formation, and cultural inheritance.Together, we explore:• Why so many people feel unmoored in the modern world• The role of conversation in rediscovering truth• Classical education and the renewal of Christian imagination• Tradition — not as nostalgia — but as living inheritance• The difference between secular cultural rebuilding and distinctly Christian renewal• What it actually looks like to seek the True, the Good, and the Beautiful todayThis is not just a conversation about ideas. It’s about formation. It’s about responsibility. It’s about rebuilding from the ground up — beginning with Christ at the centre. If this conversation serves you, consider sharing it with someone who is wrestling with meaning, education, culture, or faith in our fractured age.More Christ — for God’s glory, for the good of others, and for the renewal of all creation.

Episode 145: Molly Worthen: What Makes Leaders Irresistable and Repulsive? Charisma and Christianity
In this episode of More Christ, I sit down with historian and writer Dr Molly Worthen for a rich and searching conversation about faith, doubt, charisma, authority, and the modern spiritual landscape. Drawing from her deep research into evangelicalism, intellectual life, and the history of belief, Molly helps us understand why people are drawn to gurus, prophets, and charismatic leaders — and how Christians can pursue truth without losing humility, depth, or faithfulness. We explore the challenges facing Christianity today, the hunger for meaning in a disenchanted age, and how the life of the mind can serve — rather than weaken — a living faith in Christ. This is a thoughtful, honest, and deeply انسانی conversation for anyone seeking clarity, wisdom, and deeper roots in the Christian tradition.Learn more about Molly Worthen:Website: https://www.mollyworthen.comAmazon: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Molly-Worthen/author/B001JP3H5OIf this conversation helped you, consider subscribing, sharing, and joining us as we seek the true, the good, and the beautiful in Christ.
