It was in Kenya that David and Margie Slinger started on the journey of education and awareness about energy balancing and EMF protection. While digging the foundations of their house 100 kilometers from Mombasa, they found human skeletons! They were living on a burial ground for slaves.They started searching around for an answer and it was then that they discovered the work of Wilhelm Reich, a 1940's scientist who discovered a way to move life energy. They started making devices and burying them, not only on their plot, but in the caves where the slaves had been held before being shipped to the slave markets in Zanzibar. Changes were apparent not only to the energy of the place but also to people's health.The irony was that although they lived in a traditional village with no electricity or running water, there was a cell phone tower! The Africans who could hardly afford square meals struggled to own cell phones, which they proudly carried as a status symbol while they were unaware that they were destroying their health.The local hospital boomed with new patients…and so their research and education on life energy and EMF continued.Eventually they returned to New Zealand and life kept presenting opportunities. Elizabeth Earley is a New York City-based actress, singer, dancer, and performing arts teacher. She is passionate about storytelling to empower others, as well as empowering others to tell stories, whether in a classroom or on a Broadway stage.Elizabeth served as dance captain and swing in the revival of Broadway’s “Hello Dolly!” with Bette Midler, Bernadette Peters, and Donna Murphy. Jackie Vanderbeck is an actor, writer, and the Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Sing For Your Seniors (SFYS), a New York-based non-profit organization. SFYS’s mission is to enrich lives through the universal language of music by bringing professional artists to the communities of seniors in need to entertain, foster connection and create shared joy. Proudly focusing its service to low-income senior communities, LGBTQ+ elders, veterans and those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, SFYS is a five-time recipient of the Quality of Life grant from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.Before graduating in the founding class of the Natomas Charter School – Performing and Fine Arts Academy in Sacramento, Jackie spent her summers interning in Outreach and Education for California Music Theatre, where she cultivated her passion for ensuring theatre be accessible to all.
