Spirituality and Environmental Action with Satyavayu

In this video, Tasshin speaks with Satya, the practice guide and vision coordinator for Touching Earth Sangha.  Satya has done monastic training in multiple Zen traditions and has also learned from Tibetan Dzogchen masters, sufi musicians, Indian raga artists, and taiji teachers. Satya does not maintain any lineage affiliation, and encourages the questioning of the institution of sectarian lineage, as to whether it helps or hinders our practice of awakening. Committed to remaining without a private dwelling, and fundamentally money-free, Satya settled in Portland, Oregon, where he has been leading a Sunday sitting group for many years, and has been helping Food-Not-Bombs bring free vegetarian feasts to public parks.   This conversation is licensed with a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/).   Satya on Medium: https://medium.com/@SatyaVayu YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEwr9VNx-cf3OG3HjK7Slqg/ Touching Earth Sangha: https://touchingearth.cloudaccess.host/ Contact Satya: touchingearth@riseup.net
