Daphne is a producer and journalist, working in broadcast, who also works on documentary filmmaking and photography based in Athens. She has reported from Greece and other countries, such as Bangladesh and Lebanon, working on her own documentary projects, as well as for European and American TV networks such as: the BBC, VICE News, ABC, PBS, SRF, NPR, Channel 4, Deutsche Welle, ZDF, VPRO. This work involves setting up shoots, researching, using my contacts to gain access to key voices in Greece and around the Mediterranean, and field producing the shoots themselves. I also work as a field producer, researcher, journalist and translator assisting leading storytellers from around the world with feature stories and filming in Greece. Whilst conducting this work, Tolis has visited many refugee camps and settlements across Greece, including to camps in Greece, Turkey, North Macedonia, Serbia, Italy, Lebanon, Calais in France and Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh.Tell us what you liked!

He specializes in issues of juvenile justice and grave violations against children during armed conflict. He is captain of the ocean-going vessel Alan Kay, having spent more than 20 years at-sea including ten years in Antarctica.In 2014 and 15, the Ship Bob Barker, with Peter as Captain, set the world record for the longest pursuit of a poaching vessel at sea after chasing the Interpol wanted fishing vessel "Thunder" for 110 days— covering three oceans and 11,000 nautical miles—before its captain intentionally sank his own vessel in a bid to destroy evidence.
