The original top down 4 player Dungeon Crawl / D&D inspired Arcade hit from Atari that started it all. Choose a class (Warrior, Valkyrie, Elf or Wizard) and fight your way through 100 levels of Ghosts, Demons, Thieves, Sorcerers and other Fantasy Themed baddies and freaking DEATH! Drop a coin for health and watch it slowly tick down or quickly if you take damage. Restore health by picking up food or adding more coins. Don't shoot the food! Collect keys to open gates. Teleport if you dare. Destroy those Monster Generators (pile of bones, etc) or they will never stop spawning. Ok! Command! Did you buy something? You got to equip it!. Do you join up with the bad guy in the end or did you fight him? Also, picking a name has never been so stressful for starting out. Split screen is 2nd player or more information if you are playing single. Use Item Pickups to win. Further back better/more powerful pickups. Boost off the line if you can. Hop and slide through corners. Don't embarass me by having to be picked up by Lakitu when you get off course, ok! Collect coins flat on the track for more top speed and more shield. Baldur's Gate is a series of role-playing video games set in the Forgotten Realms Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting.
