Gex is a platform video game series, developed by Crystal Dynamics, that details the adventures of an anthropomorphic gecko named Gex. He has served as the mascot of Crystal Dynamics, appearing on their company logo for several years until 2000. In the North American version, Gex is voiced by comedian Dana Gould; the United Kingdom version features Gould, Leslie Phillips and Danny John-Jules as Gex's voice. Released in 1984, "Paperboy" Players control a paperboy on a bicycle delivering newspapers along a suburban street. The player must avoid obstacles while delivering papers to customers and vandalizing non-subscribers' homes. Two years later, in 1986, "720 Degrees" was introduced. It's a skateboarding game named for the two full spins (720 degrees) a player can make. players navigate a skater through a series of events in four environments (Ramp, Downhill, Slalom, and Jump) while avoiding bees and trying to gather as many points as possible before time runs out.
