Dustin Johnson has finally earned his second career major victory! DJ wins the 2020 Masters Tournament in Augusta, GA just an hour west of his hometown in South Carolina. Deej did it in commanding fashion by setting a new scoring record at the Masters Tournament and becomes the first World No. 1 to win the green jacket since Tiger Woods did so back in 2002. Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas seemingly left a lot of scores out on the course this week. Rory could’ve been slipping on the green jacket if not for a 75 in round that essentially knocked him out of the tournament. Justin Thomas de-railed his chances with a lackluster performance at Amen Corner on Saturday. Sungjae Im and Cam Smith both impressed at Augusta National. Cameron Smith became the first player ever to shoot all four rounds below 70 at Augusta National while Sungjae now holds the record for lowest score ever by a Masters rookie. Tiger Woods spiced his Sunday up with a septuple-bogey 10 on the 12th hole on Sunday. The five-time major winner was never in contention this weekend but we have to give props to Big Cat for how well he performed in light of circumstances. Finally we wrap by putting a bow on Bryson.
