Building brands since 1985 | Andy Greenaway | Chief Creative Officer & Founder | Rumble |
Andy Greenaway is always looking for collaborative projects requiring the cross-pollination of ideas and differing storytelling styles! And most of all, he believes our industry needs to extricate itself from the joyless, money-pinching hamster wheel and re-discover fun. Because you only live once.
In this episode, Andy introduced us to advertising and brand building and what it costs to build a successful brand.
About Andy Greenaway & his journey.
· I have more than 30 years of experience in marketing and digital advertising; I am an accomplished, multi-disciplinary professional: a creative director, author, public speaker and mentor to budding talent.
· During my career as a copywriter/art director, I have won more than 300 awards, including every shade of the coveted metals in Lions, Clios, One Show, D&AD, and a host of other awards from around the globe.
· I believe the number one rule of a Creative Director is to inspire others to produce great work. But to do that, a creative director must be able to create (and judge) great work themselves. But that counts for nothing if the work can't be sold. So, a creative director has to be a good salesperson.

A life-changing event was a 2006 emergency mission to the Central African Republic, where he was almost killed in an assassination attempt. This reinforced his belief to help people in less fortunate situations. He initially worked as a painter and started Bike for Help, a cycling expedition from India to Switzerland to raise funds for leprosy. He has worked for big international organizations like the UN, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and World Vision. As CEO of World Vision Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Christoph's role is to be a bridge builder between different worlds and bring different actors together to make a change. In January 2023, he visited Uganda and witnessed how World Vision is empowering communities and improving lives through its work.

Why is Corporate Communications important? | Erik Meyers, Head, Global Marketing and Corporate Communications, Lohmann & Rauscher
The head of Global Marketing and Corporate Communications, Erik Meyers, of Lohmann & Rauscher, explains that corporate communications is critical in the corporate world because it provides information to employees, prospective employees, and customers about the company, its direction, successes, and focus. It also encourages and promotes dialogue between the company and stakeholders. Building a strong corporate image is essential and starts with communication, which is based on the corporate strategy and vision/mission of the company. A common mistake that organizations make is not connecting what they say internally and externally, which can damage the corporate image if the company is not living up to its own claims.
