S1E042: Why Empathy is The Single Most Important Skill You Can Have

Join Jayne Jewell and me today, as we reveal the one quality we feel is the most overlooked thing in business. If you are dealing with some heavy competition in a new marketplace, this secret we are going to share with you today is the key to wipe the floor with your competition. Plus, you will be making the world a better place as you go along, which we could certainly use a lot more of. When everyone in the marketplace is fighting with sticks, learn the one key trait that will have you fighting with a missile instead. In this episode we talk about: ● The mixed ideas and misconceptions that people have about empathy. The way that we define empathy is a deep, deep understanding of what your clients are dealing and struggling with, without buying into their rationalizations or limiting beliefs and handing them band-aids. To have empathy, you can have understanding or compassion but should lead them out of the problem rather than buying into their story. ● When you don't have empathy for your clients, you end up preaching at them and losing any potential for connection. ● The authority you get when you can describe someone's problem with an understanding of where they are coming from and how they feel. ● Very few people feel understood and heard. Having empathy can set you head and shoulders apart from a crowd of people that just make it about them. ● Why, when you take the "I" out of the equation, real transformation and empathy can show up. S1E041: Overcoming Mindset Blocks, Technology Challenges, and Team Challenges!

In today's episode we have the pleasure of talking with one of our star Millionaire Alliance members, David Newman! David is a leader in helping speakers and experts to fill their schedule and grow their speaking-based business. He is an example of what is possible and what can be done with a business when you have the right mindset, business model, and help. He shares the obstacles that presented themselves in the beginning of his business and how he overcame them. David shares why he has a "pissed off" baseline number to meet each month, the growing pains within his expansion, how to overcome a dry spell, and how COD and Millionaire Alliance helped him jump from $571K to $1,067,000 with time to take care of himself, his team, and even get a haircut in the middle of the workday! In this episode we talk about: ● David Newman is an expert who helps speakers and consultants get more business. This includes keynote speeches, training, seminars, etc. ● He focuses on offline relationship building, helping people get out from their computer and connecting with others in the real world. ● David's business only works with people that have the same values and high integrity that he and his team have. The outcome of serving and helping every person is extremely important to them. ● David knows they can extend the hand of help, but the actual results come from the person enrolled wanting personal and professional prosperity. ● It's important to only preach what you have practiced already. ● David follows our four magic words: "It's Not About You." It's about showing up and serving people to help them win. Mentioned in This Episode: Clients on Demand Russ Ruffino

S1E040: The Four Words That Banish Fear, Self-Sabotage, and Procrastination

There are four magic words that could help shift your mindset and experience into one from fear and limitation to power and expansion. These words harness the incredible power that may lead you from a six-figure business to a seven- or eight-figure business. Join Marc and me in today's episode and really listen in to how you can create a massive shift in the way you think about your marketing, audience, service delivery, and the way you show up. When you are hooked on the difference you are making, what opens up in front of you will be even beyond your dreams. What if it's even simpler than you thought? In this episode we talk about: When you can speak to people where they are because you are focused on your outcome and purpose and free of fear, your results will be astounding. Until you can speak your own voice and hear what your clients actually need, you will never be able to serve your true purpose. The people that make a real difference are mission- and impact-driven, not money-driven. "It's Not About You." Repeat this over and over, and get to feel in your soul that it's about the people that you are impacting, not about you! If you have great strategies but your business is stuck, you can afford to change something and learn, even if you think you already know it all. Most hurdles stem from fear, self-sabotage, and procrastination. Mentioned in This Episode: Clients on Demand Russ Ruffino

S1E038: How to Set Goals For 2018 and Actually Accomplish Them… (even if you totally blew it last year)

Are your 2018 goals already slipping away from what you had hoped? In today's episode, Jayne Jewell and I discuss how to actually achieve your goals, even if you have already fallen prey to many pitfalls. We show you how to build credibility with yourself, the difference between a hope and a goal, why people start off with a BANG and then quickly fall away, and what to do when you mess up! We also give specific habits and actions to move you closer to your goal, and to give you a steady momentum towards conquering limiting beliefs and excuses holding you back. In this episode we talk about: How to actually achieve your goals in 2018! It's not just another year where you set some goals and they don't happen and you don't follow through. It's a time to build credibility with yourself. To actually get incredible things done and to become the best version of yourself. How to get back on the right track when you have veered away from your goals. The difference between a hope and a goal. The more specific you can get about what you DO want and DON'T want, the greater the chance of an outcome. Example: Instead of "I want more clients," try "I want three more clients a month without having to blog every day." Why knowing "why" you want something is just as important to knowing "what" you want. How to tap into your pain to use it as momentum towards taking action. How to use your habits and beliefs to serve yourself. Why finding a great mentor will help hold you accountable for moving forward past your pitfalls. S1E037: From Burnout to Quadrupling his Clients in a Year! Clients on Demand graduate Ken Bechtel

Today's episode features Clients on Demand graduate Ken Bechtel, an expert in helping women find true and wonderful love that lasts. Ken came to COD knowing how to put together bits and pieces of his program, he knew it was time for a change after feeling burnt out from doing over 100 podcasts and 40 webinars. Since Ken is no longer spinning his wheels without consistent results, he was able to go on his FIRST vacation just for fun in 10 years! Ken shares the mindset tips and program changes that COD allowed for him to free up time and energy to best serve four times the number of clients from the previous year. In this episode we talk about: Ken helps single women who are committed to having true partnership attract and keep the best love into their life. Transitioning into an evergreen program and focusing on the outcome rather than the process was key to Ken's success. Ken felt a tension and stress from putting out over 100 podcasts and 40 webinars with no guarantee of enrollments or commitment. He was doing it all piece by piece, not knowing exactly how to get the end result. Ken found the COD mindset work very effective, quick and purposeful. It was a night-and-day change to go from having anxiety and worry about where he could find the next client, to trusting the process and knowing that clients will consistently be showing up on his schedule. You do not need to wait until you have a large list, giant Instagram following, etc. You can begin at any time. Mentioned in This Episode: Clients on Demand Russ Ruffino

S1E036: Facebook's Latest Changes - What Does This Mean for Your Business?

Last Week, Mark Zuckerberg announced changes Facebook is rolling out - effective immediately. It's clear from his post that businesses will be greatly affected - and NOT in a good way. So what does this mean for you and your lead generation in the future? Join us on today's episode to find out exactly what you should do (if anything) to counteract these changes and create a plan going forward so you can still get the most out of this amazing marketing tool. In this episode we talk about: It's more about quality and engagement rather than quantity and cranking out as much content as you can. There are 3 places people engage on facebook: business pages, groups and personal profiles. We have found that engaging in groups is much more powerful than a business page. Building a group is now far and away a better strategy than trying to build a business page. Facebook did announce they will be rolling out group ads in the near future. S1E035: The Critical 5-Minute "Pre-Selling" Ritual Our ENTIRE Sales Team Practices Every Day, Without Fail…

When it comes to enrolling clients into your program, what happens BEFORE the sales process is equally as important (if not more) as what happens during. Which means, if you don't have a daily "presale" habit that CONDITIONS your mind to succeed at selling, you are doing yourself (and your potential client who needs your help) a great disservice. What if there was a short 5-minute pre-selling practice you could adopt into your daily routine that mentally primed you for every enrollment conversation, so you can show up for, and serve each client with confidence and certainty? On this episode, Marc will discuss the pre-selling habits that he reinforces with his team every day, without fail, and WHY this ritual is such a critical (and greatly understated) element of the enrollment process. In this episode we talk about: If the process you are using to enroll is incongruent with a higher meaning, you are going to get the wrong clients and will be wasting time not serving those who need help the most. Our selling system enrolls the maximum number of the right people with the minimum number of cancellations, and weeds out those who are not a fit. Our goal is to serve our client with the truth, and show them if we are or are not the best solution. If your lead flow is tight, you can make sure you are enrolling the right people. S1E034: The Daily Habits Our Team Uses To Create A Bulletproof Mindset, Avoid Overwhelm, and More Than DOUBLE Our Business Every Year!

Every daily habit you implement has the ability to either HELP your business or HURT it. Most habits become so deeply ingrained in your life that you hardly have to think about them, like taking a shower, brushing your teeth, or getting the kids off to school. BUT — instead of just "going through the motions" day after day, what if you could plant PURPOSEFUL habits throughout the day that would help you grow your business? What if these business-scaling routines became so second nature to you, that it would seem weird NOT to incorporate them into your day? On this episode, Jayne and I will reveal the TOP daily "habits" we've used to dramatically scale our business, create the freedom we want, and watch our clients' lives transform in the process. In this episode we talk about: Our most successful clients are ones that have worked on their mindset without fail. Usually how we feel is how we start the day. Your rituals and habits have the ability to change your emotional state and framework in order to have an amazing day and direct the way you feel and think. The morning ritual is what gives you the power and authority to make magic happen. It might be tough in the beginning, but once you develop a routine and stick to it, you develop momentum and it gets easier! Jayne likes changing it up between outside walking, meditation, and breathwork, then writes out what she is grateful for. She tries new things and records what makes a big impact. Russ ties his morning ritual in with taking a shower, something he knows he will actually do every morning. He also starts with gratitude, starting with what he has now, and then going into feeling gratitude for what he wants. When you think about the things you desire from a place of appreciation with intention rather than lack or fear, it opens up creativity and resources. S1E033: An Inside Look at Our Detailed $9.5M Income Report for 2017!

Have you ever come across one of the MANY business coaches out there who are quick to throw around high-income statistics and yet, they refuse to (or simply can't) provide any solid numbers to back up their income claims? And if they do provide numbers, they shy away from sharing details on HOW they got there (usually because what they claim is either skewed, lacking integrity, or isn't the same process they teach their clients.) If you know me and the COD team at all, you know we're a bit of an anomaly. Instead of covering up or hiding our numbers, we WANT to share with you what works, what doesn't and how we got to where we are today. So get ready for 100% transparency! We're going to break down all of our numbers for 2017! I often get questions like: "What about ad spend? Payroll? Overhead?" At the end of the year, how much of our $9.5M is actual PROFIT? Jayne, Adrienne, Marc and I will be sharing our detailed 2017 Income Report for Clients On Demand. We'll be pulling back the curtain and revealing how we generated $9.5M in revenue in last year while protecting and maintaining the freedom-based lifestyle that is so important to each of us and changing our clients' lives along the way. In this episode we talk about: Why scaling your business is all about having a system. Our three goals and breakthroughs come in the form of serving our: income, impact, and freedom. We can make the "pie" of winning as big as we want and there is a space for everybody to succeed. We talk to people every day and don't even make an offer to 20% - 25% of the people we talk to. We only make offers to help people grow their business when we are 100% sure we can help them. There is a price either way — you can either pay for great people or you can pay for the loss in revenue by not hiring the right people. Sometimes taking action can be scary, but none of us on the team would be where we are if we didn't step out and take a leap of faith with action towards achieving our dreams and goals.
