Additionally, he was a staff accountant at LDDS WorldCom following graduation at Mississippi College. Brian was honored with the Top 40 Under 40 awards in 2009 by the Mississippi Business Journal, is affiliated with multiple professional organizations and is involved with a variety of community organizations and causes. Self-managing and overseeing the renovations personally for the first few years has taught Sterling a ton about the industry. He then made the decision to replace his engineering income with real estate in 2 years or less. Dave successfully identified the Smoky Mountains as the hottest upcoming market for short term rentals and bought 3 cabins in 7 months. This allowed him to take a buyout from General Motors 11 months after he made the decision and 9 months after the purchase of the first property. Dave specializes in identifying outsized value and helping his friends take advantage of those identified exceptional values. He helped over 70 clients buy in the Smokies in 2021 and 2022, helping ease the purchaser’s anxiety he felt by building a team that analyzed every property that hit the market in the Smokies. The exceptional value he's currently most excited about is a twist on virtual assistants. The twist is they must have at least 5 years of experience. This cuts the training time by more than half, getting the VA up to speed quickly and saving the client valuable time. Dave's company has provided executive assistants, project managers, property managers, bookkeepers, architects, medical RN degree holding virtual assistants, cold callers and managers. That led him on his journey to move to New Zealand and work for his mentor in the dairy industry. When he returned from New Zealand Paul had a beautiful wife, a child and only $2,000 to start over in the US. Within 2 years Paul and his wife started a dairy farm from scratch and grew it to a successful business over the last 8 years. Not only does he own Dream Winds Dairy, but in 2021, Paul started Open Sky Agribusiness, a consultancy that helps others manage risk in their agriculturally based businesses and investments.
