451. Available targets post-free agency

Host Ian Hartitz goes solo to break down available targets around the league with free agency essentially wrapped up. Ian goes through outliers at running back, wide receiver, and tight end to determine which position groups are in the most need of additional help ahead of the draft. This can help us pinpoint situations where: 1) An existing member of the offense is set up for an enhanced role, or 2) Incoming talent has plenty of available opportunity to make an impact sooner rather than later. Notable players touched on: Saquon Barkley, Rondale Moore, Irv Smith, David Njoku, Auden Tate, Ronald Jones and much more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. 450. Most important roster construction thoughts and separation vs. contested catches

Host Ian Hartitz is joined by PFF gangster Dwain McFarland to break down Dwain's article on reverse engineering an adaptable, winning 2022 draft plan along with a discussion on the difference between separation and contested-catch ability. The guys go through why rounds 7-10 are awfully important to nailing your fantasy draft. The good news: there's enough depth at each position (for now) to make basically any draft strategy work; just be ready to adjust accordingly and fill your positions of need after the first six or so rounds. Later the guys discuss why looking at per-route separation is far superior to per-target numbers and why contested-catch goodness shouldn't be considered a negative. 445. Draft capital matters and pre-draft best-ball targets/fades

Host Ian Hartitz is joined by PFF vice president of fantasy football vibes Dwain McFarland to break down some of the guy's findings on draft capital and best-ball targets. Ian starts things off by going over his latest article for PFF . com, concluding that fantasy footballers are largely better off only attacking players drafted inside of the top-three rounds regardless of position. After about 30 minutes Dwain briefly hears out Ian's complaint that everyone is over-reacting to Zeke's underwhelming, but injury-induced, second half of the season before the guys move on to some best-ball targets. Dwain leads the charge and goes through which quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends he's straddling (pause), avoiding, or targeting before the draft.
