MRM Episode 124 - Kash Rocheleau

This episode brings us a chat with Kash Rocheleau, Financial Strategist, Fractional Accountant & CFO and Growth Advisor.Kash generously shares her journey climbing the corporate ladder all the way to becoming a CEO. She goes on to tell how the role started to take over her life at the cost of those she cared for and the things she had a passion for.Kash turned the learnings from this experience into her business - Outgrow. The theme of the business is to help small to medium businesses 'outgrow' the limiting systems / processes that are holding them back from growing their firm. She provides the example of an owner who is doing their own accounts, believing it is saving money. This description won't do the interview justice - please take the time to listen to this fascinating discussion!Use the link below to connect with Kash:(39) Outgrow Accounting and Finance: Overview | LinkedInSend us Fan MailContact ABM Risk Partnership to optimise your risk management approach: email us: info@abmrisk.com.auTweet us at @4RiskCmeVisit our LinkedIn page https://www.linkedin.com/company/18394064/admin/Thanks for listening to the show and please keep your guest suggestions coming!

MRM Episode 123 - Dan Godden

In this episode, we learn just how small the world really is! In all the prep and comms that goes on in coordinating guests for the show, until we connected for the interview, little did I know that he lived just up the road from the Mastering Risk Management headquarters. My guest is Dan Godden, Director of SolveSimple a firm whose goal is to make technology simple, useful and human. In our chat, Dan shared some real gems. Firstly, a reminder that alongside every technology project is a people project - often not scoped or thought about.Secondly, that sometimes it's best to get an expert to help with this component - a co-sourced change resource can make all the difference in taking your people along on the journey.Lastly, Dan talked about the 'side-hustle' that these projects often afford - and that is to turn your technical experts into people managers. This was a terrific chat and will be well worth your investment of time.Send us Fan MailContact ABM Risk Partnership to optimise your risk management approach: email us: info@abmrisk.com.auTweet us at @4RiskCmeVisit our LinkedIn page https://www.linkedin.com/company/18394064/admin/Thanks for listening to the show and please keep your guest suggestions coming!
