In Episode 311: The Mysterious Egress Industries, we are joined by Kyle and Steve from The Holosky Podcast. A couple of months ago I was contacted by a mutual listener, informing me about some of the crazy things that were happening on their show. Boy, they were not kidding! It all started when Steve was doing some research on Reddit for one of their upcoming shows, and stumbled across "dream flyers" that asked peculiar questions and advertised a phone number for "Egress Industries." Steve thought it could be an interesting idea for the show, and bought a burner phone to conduct their experiment. Steve and Kyle used it to contact the number on the flyer, and that’s when things began to progress out of hand! They were connected to a guy named Bob who was also experiencing bizarre happenings involving the Egress Industries’ phone number. When the three started talking, Egress immediately knew about it, and began texting their phones and the phones of some of their acquaintances - numbers they never should have had access to! Egress even started to text Kyle's co-worker, and may have possibly made an in-person visit to Kyle's wife. In Episode 309: The Predator, we talk JR, a former member of a "1%" motorcycle club. After doing something to get himself kicked out of the club, JR started his own burglary gang. Between the club and the gang, he was in deep trouble with the law and found himself on the run, hiding out on a very remote property in southeast Indiana. Although he was given permission to stay on the property, JR was also warned that something was roaming the land... Not paying much mind to that warning, he spent nine months at the location, spending his time looking for old artifacts he could sell for cash. As time went on, JR not only found artifacts, but discovered huge finger bones and oddly placed mounds. And that's where he wishes his discoveries had ended: while out searching, JR also came across a translucent creature he can only describe as "The Predator." Did Pat Garrett kill Billy the Kid?It was a moonlit night in Ft. Sumner, NM when history tells us that Sheriff Pat Garrett shot down the notorious outlaw Billy “the Kid”. Newspapers across the country quickly reported that the Kid was dead and Garrett quickly put the body in the ground. But rumors spread that the Kid had survived and the testimony of Garrett’s posse was contradictory about how, exactly, the shooting had gone down. Nevertheless, without evidence, the story of the heroic Sheriff stood for almost 70 years. Then, in 1950, an old man from Hico, TX petitioned the governor of New Mexico for a pardon for crimes he committed as Billy the Kid. No one took him seriously, and yet the old man was an exact match in physical characteristics and knew intimate details about the Kid’s life. He also knew details about the fateful shooting the night Garrett claimed to have shot him that had been erased by history. Details, for example, that Garrett had killed his very drunk bearded half-Mexican partner, a claim that has only recently been verified by modern research.It has been said that the living write history and not the dead, but when one returns from the dead, so to speak, that which was lost to history is restored. This is the true story of Billy the Kid, complete with new evidence that he lived to a ripe old age and died a free man.THE STORYIn 1882 the notorious outlaw Jesse Evans, a childhood friend of Billy the Kid and a participant in the Lincoln County War, walked out of jail after serving a sentence for killing a Texas ranger. Jesse walked out of prison a free man and disappeared, never to be heard from again. Never, that is, until 1949 when Jesse came out of hiding after almost 60 years to claim an inheritance left to him by his brother.In the course of proving his identity to a court, Jesse told some amazing stories of his time when he was an outlaw but his biggest revelation of all was that his good friend Billy the Kid was still alive. Jesse led a young lawyer named William Morrison to an old man named not William H. Bonney but William H. Roberts who after some consideration finally agreed to come forward and reveal himself as Billy the Kid. He agreed to this on one condition- that the lawyer helps him obtain the pardon he was promised by the Governor but never received so he could die a free man. You see, Billy the Kid was still wanted for murder and was condemned to hang. To reveal himself was to risk arrest and death. This was a risk that William H. Roberts was willing to take. He sat down with Mr. Morrison and told his story.This book contains that story. It is the one true autobiography of Billy the Kid. A story that aside from some definite highlights and adventures that one would expect from the Kid, was remarkable normal and focused on his skill breaking horses as much or as more as his skill as a gunslinger. Billy the Kid was, in fact, just a gifted young cowhand who found himself juxtaposed against corrupt officials and lawmen at what became a key moment in American History.Before one dismisses Mr. Roberts it should be considered that 5 living acquaintances of Billy the Kid, aside from Mr. Evans who revealed him, were willing to sign legal affidavits that Mr. Roberts was the man they knew as Billy the Kid. Further, the new photographic comparison shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were the same man. Mr. Roberts' story became the inspiration for the opening scene in the hit movie "Young Guns II" starring Emilio Estevez as Billy the Kid. Also, Consider that Pat Garrett was denied his reward for killing the kid for many months and that only a special act of the legislature allowed him to finally receive it. All of this and more is contained in this book. In episode 303: The Bigfoot Lights, we talk to Dustin who is a Native American with some amazing experiences. It all started out when he and his ex-girlfriend were driving back home from college to show off their new baby girl to their families. On their drive that night they saw a strange streaking light that was soon accompanied by more. As this experience continues these lights seemed to be very aware of them and triangulated on them as they drove. What follows is more lights coming from the lights in the sky, dropping down and following them as they drove. In Episode 301: When Orb Witnesses Die,  Michael joins The Confessionals to discuss some pretty bizarre experiences. It seems UFOs have been a significant part of his life, having seen them both as a child and as an adult. But the oddest one of them all came when he, his wife, and their friends witnessed a large orb that left them stunned. Following the sighting, three of the people who witnessed the orb ended up dying untimely deaths! In Episode 299: The Spider Crawl, we are joined by Cheyanne and Joanna. Cheyanne shares some significant paranormal experiences that both she and her family members have been through throughout her life. These experiences range from UFOs, to ghosts, to the “Black Nemesis.” Following Cheyanne's stories, her brother's fiancée Joanna joins us to describe her bigfoot experience in Washington state. While picking mushrooms, she saw a large creature that walked away from her in a bizarre manner - by dropping down to all fours and "spider walking," all while keeping its torso turned towards her! To Joanna, the creature did not seem like it was of this world, leaving her very confused by what she saw. Interesting to note is that Joanna’s bigfoot encounter is eerily similar to that of the experience of Wes Germer from 'Sasquatch Chronicles'. In Episode 298: The Dirty Santa, we bring on the much-anticipated Rachyll to share her jaw-dropping story of being stalked and hunted down by a man who she describes as looking like a dirty Santa! When she was a young girl, “dirty Santa” spotted Rachyll outside while he was driving, and the way he looked at her set off an alarm bell inside that she will never forget. Following that initial encounter, the creepy old man proceeded to haunt Rachyll by finding out where she lived, and finally one night executing his plan to break into her home and take her away.
