Gracia Berrios works for One Justice in San Francisco to help DACA immigrants to find legal help with their immigration process. She immigrated to the US from Peru as a baby with her family, and went through the grueling years of legal immigration, watching her family walk through the emotionally and financially taxing process. She now wants to help those who need the resources to make legal immigration work, despite the almost weekly setbacks that the current administration’s changes make increasingly difficult. Christopher Kinnison is an immigration lawyer in the US. He travels to dentition centers across Louisiana where ICE currently holds immigrants. Lisa Rodriguez Watson is the National Director of Missio Alliance. She has served as an urban church planter, collegiate minister, and worked with refugees in Albania. She is the daughter of a Cuban immigrant. Her heart to see people reconciled to God and to one another has led her to invest her life, family, and ministry in places and people that have often been overlooked by the world. Lisa served as co-founder of a grassroots organization in Memphis, TN that was committed to mobilizing Christians to love their undocumented neighbors and consider an appropriate Christian response to the US’s immigration crisis. She lives in Washington, DC, and is a good steward of her citizenship by being a voice for the voiceless in the halls of government as a constituent.
