We also get to the heart of the matter with Monique, fantasize about Sister Act 3, wave a bandanna at Kacey Musgraves, lust a little for Leland and gag over a magical micro-moment from an otherwise mellow Manila (runway aside). Oh say can you see, Mary! All Stars 4 kicks off with some USO realness as the returning ten queens kick, flip, tuck and—well, whatever Jasmine was doing—for an audience of LGBTQ veterans. Monique and Monet extend their trademarks into talents, Manila keeps it conceptual, Trinity teaches us a lesson and Farrah learns one. It’s a tame start in a season full of superstars, but we’re keeping an eye on Gia Gunn’s tendency for target practice, Valentina’s virtuous potential and Latrice’s wabi-sabi star power to keep things interesting this season.

For the reputation that Season 7 gets, it definitely has one of the series' tightest snatches--Snatch Game, that is. From Kennedy's rootie-tootie Little Richard to Violet's nail flying off as Alyssa Edwards to Pearl's grotesque interpretation of Big Ange, there's a lot to love here--and a lot to question (Why did Ginger also win this week?). And while Max delivers a dulled Sharon Needles, it doesn't justify the egregiously shady edit she gets on the runway. Also, she looked better in gray. Kasha Davis shines as Joan Rivers before flubbing one word during the challenge, Katya's grapefruits over PearlGate are the size of pumpkins, and Max emerges as the kind-media queen we were looking for. The queens are serving their best Weird Al realness in this week's song parody challenge. While none of them are chart toppers, Jaidynn sails through with her Bianca del Rio impression, Katya shines as a peeling beach bum and Kennedy turns out Ru's favorite nuances for the win. Meanwhile, Kandy's not selling it and Pearl's toast from the get-go, but in a season shocker, a fan favorite it sent sashaying off into the sunset instead...
