Mum’s the word this week as the Top 4 turn their moms and sisters into drag family members. Divina is having a divine time of it with her sister, The Vivienne’s mom showed up in camo, the Chipz are down for Baga and the Holes must navigate some pitfalls in costuming. While Sacka Spuds emerges as the unlikely BSA, we also spend some time recognizing the true mom of Drag Race—Michelle Visage—and exploring the nuances of our own relationships with our mothers, and most importantly, what kind of drag we’d put them in. The cornerstone of a Drag Race competition is finally here (and wow, did it make a splash in the pond): Snatch Game! The Vivienne trumped them all while Baga Chipz stayed strong as iron, Blu Hydrangea’s runway was eye-opening while her snatch game character was blue, and Crystal’s Rue wasn’t so clear. (In the words of another supermonster, we’re so proud to see it!) Dollya delivered impeccable glamour and THAT SKIN DRESS and Priscilla made us sick with filth, but Landon downright deconstructed a queer classic (and its heroine!) with his horror floor show, and continued to be an inspiration in the boudoir.
