DAVID MENZIES | The Media Party sends an open letter to Justin Trudeau
GUEST HOST: David Menzies
Well, that was one humdinger of an open letter that was published the other day by members of the Media Party. It’s a joint letter, actually, signed by 48 — count ’em, 48 — media organizations and associations. It was sent to the Prime Minister, cabinet ministers, and other political leaders. And the letter “demands action on the growing harassment and abuse of journalists in Canada.”
Oh my, it would seem that the media watchdogs who now exist as lapdogs are in a most disagreeable mood despite being very well taken care of by their kennel master, Justin Trudeau. Then again, I suppose even the tiniest and most domesticated chihuahua might yelp out a bark or two if it’s pissed off, enough?
So how about we dissect this missive, shall we?

SHEILA GUNN REID | The push for net-zero healthcare is a slippery slope to MAID
While healthcare only accounts for 5 per cent of global C02 emissions, many within the industry see the inclusion of green energy in hospitals and patient care as the battleground in the fight for human health.
Hospitals, however, need reliable, consistent, affordable energy to provide life-saving patient care and to prevent the spread of deadly diseases. And green energy is neither reliable nor consistent nor affordable.
But what about the patient? What becomes of our infirm and elderly when the healthcare system is infected with an ideology which views humans as a parasite upon the face of the heart, an anti-natalist, suicidal philosophy which encourages depopulation?
Veterans are being encouraged to partake in assisted suicide as a treatment for their PTSD. One woman in Ontario was given MAID for chemical sensitivities and difficulty findings housing. What if someone deems your carbon footprint too large? The Association for Palliative Medicine is already worried about the climate footprint of end-of-life care.
Medical assistance in dying is the evil end result of a healthcare system already on the verge of collapse, coupled with a newfound obsession by some doctors with the carbon footprints of a hospital, medical supplies and the patients.
Joining me tonight is Michelle Stirling from Friends of Science to discuss this troubling trend growing in the climate cult.Support Rebel News Podcast

EZRA LEVANT | Climate lockdowns have come to Europe. That was quick.
It’s a failure. Not of fossil fuels. Of politicians who banned fossil fuels. Just like the last two years were a failure. Not at the hands of a virus, which was the equivalent to a bad flu year. It was a failure at the hands of politicians, who locked us down, using the virus as an excuse.
GUEST: Breitbart senior editor-at-large Joel Pollak on California's power grid and Joe Biden's recent speech denouncing MAGA Republicans as a threat to democracy.Support Rebel News Podcast

EZRA LEVANT | Is Trudeau going to put us back into some sort of lockdown? I’ll show you a recent comment he made
When it’s a lovely Canadian summer, and you can meet friends again, and there are music concerts and barbecues and life opens up again, you can forget the two years they stole from us.
Except — except maybe we’re not done. Maybe they want to go back to it again.
On tonight's show, we'll take a look at a speech from Trudeau just the other day.

SHEILA GUNN REID | Best of the 2022 Conservative Party leadership campaign
GUEST HOST: Sheila Gunn Reid
The Conservative Party of Canada's leadership election campaign is nearly over and Rebel News has covered it from start to almost finish.
So we're looking back at some of our best coverage of the Conservative Party leadership campaign. Our journalists have covered the contest to replace outgoing leader, Erin O'Toole, from the very beginning and even before that. Our journalists were on the ground in Ottawa when Erin O’Toole put the final nail in his own coffin by refusing to support the convoy protesters in their peaceful demonstration for human rights and against COVID mandates in the nation's capital.
And since then we've had sit down interviews with candidates, covered campaign rallies, interviewed supporters, live streamed debates, and scrummed politicians afterwards asking questions that we know Canadian conservatives want answers to.
We didn't ask questions conservatives don't care about. We asked about lockdowns, gun rights, free speech, China, supply management, access to health care, and press freedom.
So today instead of our normal monologue and interview, we’ll refresh your memory on what the candidates said and did during the campaign.
Votes have to be in by September 6 and then the counting starts. If you don't have your mind made up, maybe this might help you.Support Rebel News Podcast

DAVID MENZIES | Boosters at Western U; Unvaxxed tennis star skips US Open
Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies, and gentlemen — and the rest of you — in which we look back at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels. I’m your host, David Menzies.
Just when you thought things were returning to normal vis-à-vis the COVID file, the University of Western Ontario suddenly demanded that all students returning to class later this month must be double-vaccinated plus a booster shot. Students and their allies staged a protest on campus last Saturday, and Lincoln Jay covered the demonstration. He’ll join me to offer his two cents’ worth.
And the U.S. Open is ongoing in New York City. But a notable player is missing due to not being vaccinated. That would be Novak Djokovic because he refuses to get jabbed with an experimental vaccine. And this, apparently, makes Djokovic world tennis champion non grata.
Our New York-based reporter Jeremy Loffredo will try to make sense of it all.
And letters; we get your letters; we get your letters every minute of every day. And I’ll share some of your letters about a Scotiabank client in Grand Prairie, Alberta, who was fired by the bank for the egregious act of… committing a thought crime? Oh, it’s true, it’s true…
Those are your Rebels, now let’s round ‘em up…Support Rebel News Podcast
