Both BJJ and Crossfit have massive dedicated communities who live and die by the Cultures credos. Though they may seem to be polar opposite the 2 cultures have more in common than you might realise.JT & Joey break down what Crossfit does well and the value that our BJJ Fam can derive from another group of hardcore, dedicated people. They also highlight where it can go wrong and how this is avoidable to get the best out of this intense sport that mirrors our own.Parry Athletic The best training gear in the game and Get 20% OFF Discount Code: BULLETPROOF20https://parryathletics.com/collections/new-arrivals

JT & Joey discuss their own experiences of post rolling soreness and how to properly deal with it. They clear up one of the biggest misunderstandings in BJJ- The fact that it is resistance training from all angles. This result is very intense Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) combine this with the impact trauma of submissions, getting stacked, coping a Knee Ride or a mean crossface! To deal with this accumulation of damage it's important not to ignore the causes and rely on pain killers or anti-inflammatories. It starts with a disciplined approached to not roll to the death and if the intensity of the exchange is outside of your control implement strategies to have lighter rolls to alternate your intensity on the mat.Parry Athletic The best training gear in the game and Get 20% OFF Discount Code: BULLETPROOF20https://parryathletics.com/collections/new-arrivals
