New Podcast Let Us Reason - A Christian/Muslim Dialogue

Al reflects on September11th,how and why it was a turning point for the US , the world and himself.  Al was attending church as a seeker when that happened and he heard a message on love your enemies.  He explains how the Quran teaches the ideology of jihad,and explains what it is.  He compares the Apostle Paul in his zeal to the jihadist who are following an ideology without the knowledge of the true God (Romans10:1). See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Al Fadi continues with more evidence from the Quran and commentators on the Quran that shows that the apostle Paul was mentioned in the Quran as a messenger of God and Jesus . Using (Quran 36:14), Al Fad talks about six muslim commentators and who they say Paul was.  In this verse of the Quran,most of these commentators say that Allah or Jesus sent these three messengers: Simon, John and Paul to Antioch. Al Fadi discusses more edits,corrections and modifications on one manuscript called the Doha;Qatar manuscript. First he gives four examples using Q 6:91-97. Al Fadi discusses two examples on the early Quranic manuscript corrections based on the book by Dr. Daniel Alan Brubaker; Corrections in Early Quranic Manuscripts.  Today he talks about erasures and insertions.  1. Quran 42: 21, a word (a pronoun) was changed from singular to plural. 2. Quran 30:9 ; a word was erased and nothing was written in its place.  Al asks three questions: First: Why was the correction necessary? Second: What was the intentions behind it? Third: Who authorised this correction? All this causes a lot of damage to the picture muslims paint of the Quran's preservation.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Al continues to talk about the corrections that have been made to the early Quranic manuscript based on a book by a scholar Dr Daniel Drubaker.  If we use the same argument that muslim used to conclude that the Bible is been corrupted we can conclude that the Quran is been corrupted.  So the tables have been turned and the muslim claim that the Quran has been preserved is no longer apply.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Muslims believe that Mohammad was given a universal message, yet there is no verse in the Quran to prove it.  On the contrary , the Quran says that he was sent to the Arabs; his own people.  The Hadith says that Mohammad was a universal prophet and this was invented in a later time.  Listen as Al Fadi explains it. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
