What would that robot look like, how would it talk and what are some of the other characteristics it might have. Today I'd like to talk about the coming collapse. The collapse is not going to happen because of some breakdown in order due to the banking system or politics. It will happen because the cheap and easy energy that we use in our economy will become scarce. I've been studying Peak Oil since 2004. I remember my father having his life threatened by a local Cuban man for a pair of pants. The situation had become so dire that locals were resorting to the threat of violence. In 1996 I also I spent the entire summer in former Yugoslavia where 55% of the gasoline that would normally enter the country was gone due to international embargoes. A couple of days ago I did a video on women in Egypt. What I wanted to touch upon was the idea that in some Muslim or Islamic countries it is still popular for men to have more then one wife. But in the modern western world the idea of polygamy is generally not accept. But from what I have observed in society today there seems to be a phenomenon that I see that I can only describe as the virtual male harem. In the last 2 years I've met at least three young women in their 20s that use men in ways that are detrimental to those particular men's self esteem. I'm increasingly seeing situation where one woman can often lead on half a dozen guys at the same time while appearing not to have a relationship. This is next installment in my Women only series and this one is about women only taxi cabs. The perception by many women is that taxi cabs are just too dangerous for them. There is the constant threat of women being raped or sexually taken advantage of while riding in a cab. If you walk around in a clubbing district in a any major Western city like New York, Toronto, Miami or London you'll notice that after last call there are typically a lot of drunken people that want to get into a cab and the cab drivers are circling around like vultures trying to get a fare. But if you look closely you will often see cab drivers refusing fares because they don't want to clean puke from drunken passenger. It's a weird tradeoff, taxi drivers make most of their money on the weekends but to make that money they often have to accept drunken people in their cabs. And if it's a friday night and someone pukes in your cab then you have to take valueable time cleaning the puke from the seats and floor before accepting another fare. That's what the majority of cab driver are thinking about on a Friday or Saturday. I'm sure that most of them are not thinking about raping their passengers. They risk losing their taxi license and livelihood if they are caught sexually assaulting their passengers. I was in Egypt a number of years ago and I had the good fortune to see how different types of Middle Eastern women are treated differently in that country. The four groups of women I'm going to focus on are Muslim Women in Cairo and Alexandria, Coptic women in Cairo and Hurghada, Saudi Arabian Women visiting Egypt and the Bedouins in the deserts of Egypt. Egypt is a multicultural place to some extent and each group treats their women differently then the next. There are different expectations with regards to work, dress code and the freedom granted to women. With regards to the Muslim women in Egypt the first thing you have to understand about Egypt is that it's a relatively liberal place compared to the rest of the Middle Eastern countries in that region.
