She was possibly in her baby rabies age, I'd say between 26 and 31, but it's hard to know exactly. I'm a tall northerner here in Bulgaria, with my appearance alone possibly suggesting I may be a well-off foreigner, and she's a minimum wage earner working the till, probably earning between $600 and $900 a month. I probably just mistook her kindness for romantic interest, but I'm not used to getting any kind of eager attention from women her age, so I tend to mess things up by seeming disinterested, since I'm generally trying to stay clear of women as I just see them as energy vampires and I prefer the simplicity of independence and keeping my emotions tucked away. Another sudden drop in views happened in early October of 2022. I'm not sure what's going on and think it might have something to do with the midterm election. Anyhow I wanted to pipe in about the Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen divorce situation. There were videos done about his before and people were saying that even one of the best men in the world is still not good enough for the women out there. Even a guy that's one of the top Athletes with hundreds of millions of dollars. At first I didn't believe they were going to get divorced and I still think they won't. But recently they finally hired lawyers. So what's the reason she supposedly wants to leave him? Well, she doesn't like the idea that he's going to unretire at the at of 45 because football is a dangerous sport. But is she only threatening to leave him or is she serious? This is not the first time Tom and Gisele have called things off. Him going back into football at the age of 45 should be understood as one great big shit test. She's threatened to divorce him many times over football and then she didn't go through with it so it looks like he's passed many of her shit tests before. He's telling her that he's his own man and that she's not the one that's going to make decisions for his life. She ends up stomping her feet like a five year old, calming down and then everything goes back to normal. We recently saw this with another celebrity couple I covered Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin. They are no longer getting a divorce and are seen going out on dates. All this drama makes me wonder if some washed up and stars that are fading away are faking divorces on purpose. That there's a celebrity trend of faking breakups to get attention in the mainstream media. Maybe it was obvious with the Rocky dog being tattooed over his wife's face on his arm. Apparently that's what led her to want to divorce Sly. Now they are out in public like nothing happened. How much you wanna bet that Tom Brady doesn't get divorced and they reconcile? Were in an attention based economy and people are increasingly willing to do whatever it takes to stay in the public spotlight. What's to say that Giselle didn't conspire together to stir up a media storm so they could get some attention. Or what's to say we aren't just watching her shit test him in public again? Here's what her article says and I quote: "CV data shows that fewer women academics are collaborating with men. A new paper has found that the #MeToo movement has caused a significant decline in the productivity of women academics because fewer are collaborating with their male colleagues. This fall is most acute in universities “where the perceived risk of sexual harassment accusations for men is high”, resulting in a chilling effect on cross-sex collaboration. Using CV data to track collaborations between economists over six years around #MeToo (2015-2020), researcher Marina Gertsberg discovered that junior female academics started 0.7 fewer projects per year than before. 60% of this decline can be attributed to a decrease in collaborations with new male co-authors, which broadly correlates with a reduction in growth of the co-author network. Gertsberg attributes this fall to men unwilling to collaborate with women due to fears of accusations of sexual harassment. In fact, several surveys have found that men believe they are more vulnerable to false allegations of sexual harassment in a post-MeToo landscape, and are perhaps managing this perceived risk by reducing their exposure to women. #MeToo’s original goal was to improve workplace conditions for women by holding men accountable for sexual misconduct. The response resulted in public allegations that brought down several high-profile individuals. Early cases included William V Harris, the well-established Columbia history professor who retired as part of a settlement in a sexual harassment lawsuit in late 2017; and prominent Harvard Professor, Jorge I. Domínguez, who was accused of sexual harassment by up to 18 women. This new research is significant because it highlights that the #MeToo movement had negative effects on women too. Junior researchers depend on collaboration with colleagues to build their reputation and qualify for tenure. But a reduction in interactions and professional collaborations “will exacerbate inequality between the career opportunities of men and women,” the paper concludes. The MeToo movement intended to improve the workplace for women, but it may have had the unintended consequence of stalling their careers." unquote.
