Companies increasingly don't measure their success based on profit but by how much they can virtue signal. It was only getting a score of 18 which is low so this is going to bring it up. So the woman in charge of marketing might even get a promotion out of this. But as for business itself her so called successful failure means that there will be opportunities for other beer companies to get a greater piece of the market share. There are tons of great microbreweries out there with good quality products that deserve to make money. Also as the population grows it's being replaced by Mexican's that drink sol beer or maybe even corona. As more Muslims come in they for the most part don't even drink. But traditional beer drinkers are disappearing. 19.7% of Gen Z identify as LGBT and they are more likely to drink things like mojitos. Even I never liked beer because it tasted mostly like piss water. The only beers I liked were brewed by monks and imported from Germany. People are increasingly drinking higher quality beers from microbreweries that's been more fine crafted than mass produced. The first time I heard him speak was on the Joe Rogan podcast when he was attacking Bitcoin and everyone on Bitcoin Twitter were losing it on his fundamental misunderstanding of Bitcoin. The reason so many people don't understand it is because it's a religion. If you've never had blind faith in it then it's hard to see. That's why Max Keiser says it comes from god. But anyway besides my thinking he's wrong about Bitcoin he's right about some things like China and Russia's demographic issues as well as how Canada is screwed because of high real estate prices and America dicking us around. With those things his geopolitical analysis is spot on. But I think he's wrong about the end of globalization. There has always been global trade. Think of Marco Polo and the Dutch East India company. There will probably just be a lot less of it. He's also jumping on the bandwagon when it comes to demographic declines. For example Serbia peaked out at 8 million people. Has now dropped to under seven and by UN estimates it will be down to 3 million in 75 years. Just wait until sexbots and AI girlfriends drop it down lower than that. Probably 1-2 million by 2100. Will we see re-ruralization at that point? Or will farmers keep using tractors so people won't have to work the land and can remain in the cities? That means even lower numbers then we had before the industrial revolution. I think the world is dramatically going to depopulate over the next fifty to one hundred years. If we keep our technological sophistication then I suspect we'll have to implemented AI to rule over species to make sure the human race doesn't go extinct. Looks to me like the Hunger Games was prophetic saying that North America might only have four million people. As for Peter he says America will do well in a world of deglobalization because of the inland water ways and the great lakes which are a freshwater Mediterranean as far as I'm concerned. You can go all the way from the gulf of Mexico up the Mississippi and into the great lakes. In a world with less oil we will return to shipping and America will do well from that standpoint. But he's wrong when it comes to Shale oil. The depletion rates for wells is horrible and we've already reached peak petroleum. He seems to think that somehow America is immune from aging demographics when the fertility rate is now 1.7. Canada is 1.5. Were on the same rollercoaster ride just a few cars behind Europe, Asia and Russia. I'm glad I watched this so that you don't have to. About three minutes in she lets the verbal diarrhea flow from her mouth. She says a lot of stuff we already know that women have always had informal power that was community based. That women had the power of reputation to bring up or destroy people socially as well as control access to information when it comes to her husband and what was going on in the community at large. Mary also says that women have turned themselves into subscription product by going on onlyfans and that the current exploitative situation between the sexes is going to wreck love. I agree because if women start treating men like pay piggies they shouldn't be surprised when men eventually see relationships with whamen as being nothing more than transactional. This hurts women because men would normally do a lot of free stuff for them. But if it becomes pay to play men will do the bare minimum. Mary is a former 2nd and 3rd wave feminist that doesn't believe in progress. She goes down the rabbit hole exploring the relationship between feminism and progress. So far I've brought up some big ideas but I could distil 40 minutes of her words down to 5 minutes. She's like the boring version of Diana Davison. But she does make some valid points that Feminism is a response to material conditions in civilization improving. About 25 mins in it starts to get interesting. That everything changed thanks to contraceptive and 3rd wave digital revolution. I never really looked at feminism was unleashed as technology freed women's time. You have the Suffragettes in the early 20th century once oil and electricity freed up their labor in the home thanks to the 2nd industrial revolution. Which coincides with 1st wave feminism. Then you have the contraceptive revolution which ties into 2nd wave feminism and now 3rd wave feminism with the digital revolution. Now we are about to see feminism's response to the 4th industrial revolution, the internet being the 3rd revolution. In each revolution women have gained power. The first gave them more free time because it freed them from difficult household chores. The second freed them from pregnancy and allowed them to earn money on an equal footing to men and the third one freed them of having to take responsibility for sleeping around in their own social circle. Tinder and dating apps mean they don't have to take accountability for being slutty. Not to mention they got tons of attention from social media they never would have received before. But the 4th revolution is AI and it's going to free men from having to persue women sexually thanks to AI girlfriends and loverbots. That means they will lose much of their attention and sexual exploits they gained from the 3rd revolution. Germany has even said that multiculturalism is a failure. Option number 3 is forcefully take women's rights away. This worked in Romania when Abortions and contraception were banned. The birth rate doubled in less than a year. As for the council they see the population peaking out in 2060s and then down. So infrastructure will be left to crumble. Pension schemes will fail. Less young people means less innovation and people to buy consumer durables. Well at least on the plus side real estate becomes cheaper. Economic growth ends and with it fiat currency that's based on constant growth in the money supply. But if they try to implement what amounts to a bachelor tax then a lot of guys will simply leave their countries. I'm predicting that women will do it when they become the majority of politicians.
