Carlow Shooting Update
A lone gunman caused panic in Carlow on Sunday evening. 22-year-old Evan Fitzgerald entered the Fairgreen Shopping Centre and fired multiple shots into the air, causing people to flee for their safety. No civilians were killed, but one young girl was injured while fleeing. Fitzgerald died by a self-inflicted gun wound at the scene.
