There is another way with Esmond Baring
I'd love your feedback, send me a messageEsmond Baring is a Transformational Coach based in Bali. Esmond has had a very interesting, successful and turbulent life that has taken him in a number of directions. More recently it introduced him to the teachings of Sidney Banks; the Three Principles.I have had the pleasure of only a couple of conversations with Esmond but on each of those occasions we’ve both felt a deep connection and a feeling that we’ve known each other forever. In this episode we have fun exploring the way human beings get caught up in the ideas they created in the first place.Email: esmond@esmondbaring.comWebsite: https://www.esmondbaring.com/Book: Esmond mentioned a book of poetry read by Dr Bill Pettit Coming Home by Sue Pettit {Amazon] Support the showFollow the Simple Reflections Podcast on your favourite platform: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2132149/follow Subscribe to the Simple Reflections YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/@SimplicityinMind Support the show: https://simplicity-in-mind.kit.com/products/simple-reflections-podcastThe Simple Reflections Podcast is a collection of gentle conversations with people from all walks of life, looking at small, seemingly insignificant ideas that have gone on to have profound impacts on the lives of the guests. I'd love your feedback, send me a messagePhil Hathaway is a London based Life Coach and a great friend of almost a decade. I owe him a great deal as he is the person that first mentioned the Three Principles to me.One of the things I love most about Phil’s view of the world and this understanding is the awe and wonder he sees in it from moment to moment. In this episode we discuss the magical way we experience life as human beings and of some of the fun ways we have to share experience along the way.Email: Phil@philhathaway.comWebsite: https://www.philhathaway.com/Book: Hope. It's never too late with Cathy Casey
I'd love your feedback, send me a messageCathy Casey is a Psychologist and Three Principles Practitioner based in Santa Clara County California, but from after this conversation she will always be Grandma Cathy!I love the energy and spark that Cathy brings to conversations, her unrelenting desire to find out where the people she is speaking to are coming from and the absolute joy she takes in helping them transform their lives. She has worked in within the prison system, both with inmates and staff, in large organisations internationally as well as in her day to day life.In this wonderful conversation Cathy touches on a number of things but the stand out one for me was the how her father found inner peace in his 80s after decades of struggle with his memories of World War Two… I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.Email: uare100@aol.com Support the showFollow the Simple Reflections Podcast on your favourite platform: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2132149/follow Subscribe to the Simple Reflections YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/@SimplicityinMind Support the show: https://simplicity-in-mind.kit.com/products/simple-reflections-podcastThe Simple Reflections Podcast is a collection of gentle conversations with people from all walks of life, looking at small, seemingly insignificant ideas that have gone on to have profound impacts on the lives of the guests. Paying it forward with Ant Power
I'd love your feedback, send me a messageAnt Power is a great friend and a man I have known for 23 years. Ant and I first met as young me serving in The First Battalion, The Royal Green Jackets where I was his Platoon Commander. Ant has had real battles with some of his military experiences over the years that have resulted in periods of hospitalisation, episodes of dissociation and suicide attempts. However, running through all of that has been his desire to thrive and be the best he can be for his family. Ant is now a self employed decorator, based in North Wiltshire. In this episode, Ant and I discuss following what feels right for us and how connecting with people can unlock what looks like intractable situations. When Ant called me 10 years ago neither of us knew the journey this would take us on. My desire was to help keep a friend alive, his to remain alive, however, for me it has turned in to a business and this podcast and a desire to help more veterans like Ant.I am hugely grateful that Ant felt he could reach out in the first place and even more so for seeing him pay that forward to the people he interacts with from day to day.Email: renovatingwiltshire@gmail.comFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=renovating%20wiltshireInstagram: https://instagram.com/renovatingwiltshire?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA%3D%3D&utm_source=qrSupport the showFollow the Simple Reflections Podcast on your favourite platform: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2132149/follow Subscribe to the Simple Reflections YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/@SimplicityinMind Support the show: https://simplicity-in-mind.kit.com/products/simple-reflections-podcastThe Simple Reflections Podcast is a collection of gentle conversations with people from all walks of life, looking at small, seemingly insignificant ideas that have gone on to have profound impacts on the lives of the guests. The only thing we have is NOW with Rachel Furman
I'd love your feedback, send me a messageRachel Furman is a retired pharmacist living in Studio City, LA, but she’s originally from Israel and served in the Israeli Defence Force in the 1970s. However, this conversation doesn’t touch on either elements of Rachel’s past, it focuses on her journey to living every single moment of her life, right NOW.I knew I had to speak to Rachel after seeing the transformation in her view of life. Last year I heard her ask a very pained and difficult question at the 3PUK Conference in London, where she mentioned she had stage 4 colorectal cancer that has also spread to her liver. I felt there was a really, heavy feeling of pain, confusion and generally being adrift in Rachel’s question. At this year’s virtual conference she wanted to provide an update… in theory nothing had changed – if anything they’d got worse with the passage of time – however Rachel was a different person. The pain and anguish of her question last year had been replaced by a real zest for life… I knew I wanted to learn more and this is the result!
