Driven Young
Byron Dempsey
I started the Driven Young Podcast as a way to help educate and inspire the younger generation. There are plenty of amazing podcasts out there but I find very few tailors their content to those in high-school and uni. Even the ones that claim they do seem to go off track and fail to keep their message clear and simple for the younger generation to understand.I believe our world is changing so fast, the current education system can’t keep up and is left teaching us old and outdated skills no longer relevant in the workplace. This podcast explores what I believe should have been taught in school and aims to help people realise the world is different from when their parents grew up and we must make relevant decisions based on the world we live in currently not the world people used to live in

1. Money 101, How to Save and Build a Strong Financial Foundation For Your 20's
When I think of important topics that were barely covered in school, getting control of your finances has got to be at the top of that list.Simple Finance,Interest, what the hell is it?Implementing a saving strategy from a young ageHow to buy a home in your 20sShould you buy a new car?How to live in Sydney at a young ageCredit cardsAll of this and more is covered in the first episode of the driven young podcast.I am your host Byron Dempsey and today’s guest is entrepreneur/mortgage broker Aaron Christi David. He runs a company called Atelier wealth alongside his wife and specialises in helping people buy a home or investment property. This may not sound too exciting but it is so important we learn this stuff early on so we don’t reach 30 years old with no savings and no financial assets.Check out Aaron’s company here: https://atelierwealth.com.au/Check him out on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/christiedavidaaron/Support the show Hosted on Acast.
