BEHIND BARS IN RUSSIA: A sister speaks out for an imprisoned American journalist

American journalist Evan Gershkovich will mark his 32nd birthday locked away in a Russian prison. Russian authorities arrested Evan on March 29, 2023 on charges of espionage, claims vehemently denied by both The Wall Street Journal, Evan's employer and the United States government. Evan worked as an accredited reporter in Russia – a country his family says he loves, and the birthplace of his parents, who immigrated to the United States from the former Soviet Union. With the road ahead riddled with uncertainty, we welcome two guests: Evan's sister, Danielle, who provides a window into her family's plight over the last six months, plus, The Wall Street Journal's Paul Beckett who explains why Evan's case matters to us all. .
