She is the Head of Creative Research for the analog space missions Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation (HI-SEAS), Sensoria Program, Lunares Research Station, and Astroland Interplanetary Agency. Richelle is the Co-founder of Inploration, a non-profit art and space initiative to deepen community appreciation for our planet by fostering new perspectives. Her work spans exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, Venice Biennale, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum with recent artworks on the surface of the Moon and adhered to an asteroid.

In 1993, he became the first person to walk solo and unsupported to the South Pole, covering 1,310 km in 50 days. He completed the journey without radio contact. After his expeditions, he became a bestselling author, writing 8 books on exploration, philosophy and art collecting, which have been translated into 42 languages.
