In this first of four CSM bonus episodes, Parm talks to Dr. Paul Kline and Dr. Mark Manago about their work investigating the relationship between single leg calf raise test with dynamometry and with clinical measures of gait in people with MS. This research was the basis for a platform presentation that won the DD SIG Platform Presentation Award at APTA’s CSM 2020. In this episode, Parm talks to Dr. Tara McIsaac about her recent study outlining characteristics of people with PD that determined exercise class prescription. Tara and Parm review the study results, including a group of clinical tests that may help PTs refer to appropriate programs.
