Recorded: September 27, 2021 | Coming off of another great weekend the boys are riding high this week. The Titans and Raiders both picked up wins, Spooktober is only TWO DAYS away, and best of all... Taylor is back on the bus. Taylor starts the pod by addressing some of Blas's uncalled for tweets over the weekend and introduces the new segment "What's Wrong With Blas?" After the boys figure out the root of Blas's issues with them and the AFC South, Will and Taylor speak about the elephant in the room. Week 1 vs. the Cardinals. Taylor talks about what was going through his head in the 48 hours after the game and how he was able to deal with the criticism as well as the injury that kept him out of Week 2. Recorded: September 7, 2021 | Ever since his rookie season Jeffery Simmons has been eager to get on the pod. So the boys decided to give the youngin a chance and he rose to the occasion. Jeff starts things off by telling the boys a little bit more about his upbringing in Mississippi, and how his mom inspires and motivates him to be the best player he can be. We also learn that Jeff was known to be a little bit of a cry baby back in the day. Next we find out why the former 5-star recruit chose Mississippi State over a school like Alabama. He says no money was involved but Taylor and Will are still a little skeptical. Prior to the NFL draft Jeff was a projected to be a potential top 5 pick, but tore his ACL a couple of months before the combine. He takes us through the mental side of the recovery process and how he was able succeed almost immediately when he returned. Then we go even deeper. The boys discuss who the most handsome man on the Tennessee Titans is and where they rank. We learn that Jeffery thinks Will is ugly but also that Jeff took the same route as Will when it comes to his teeth. As the pod winds down we hear about where Jeff ranks the boy Quenton Nelson on his list of top interior lineman in the NFL. According to the tape Jeff got the best of Q this past season but the respect is high between them. To wrap things up the boys create lists of their favorite things about the transition from summer to fall. It's up to you guys to decide who has the best list. After being in training camp for the past several weeks Taylor makes his return to the podcast and brings Co. Run Left President, Rodger Saffold, with him. The pod kicks off with Will and Rodger discussing the infamous play where Rodger may or may not have put Comp in the dirt, but according to Will if he would've seen him coming there would've been a different end result. Next, Taylor and Rodger talk about their excitement for the upcoming season, and how special it could be since this is their first time playing whole season together. Then the boys dive into Rodger's career prior to joining the Titans. He talks about his time with the Rams, losing the Super Bowl, and how muddy the free agency waters can actually be. We also learn more about Rodger's E-sports business/team he owns and what it is like being one of the first active pro athletes in and leading the industry. There are a lot of layers to the Titans left guard and as always the boys peel back every one of them.
