Recorded: August 16th 2023 | On this weeks episode it is just the boy Willy again for the intro. He recaps our trip to LA from our training camp tour with the Chargers and Raiders. Our first interview we sit down with running back from the Chargers, Austin Ekeler. We didn't have him for very long but it's a good conversation. We touch on all of Ekeler's business adventures along with what he would like to once he is done with football. The guys also get into the massive topic that's been circulating the league surrounding the running back market. Austin gives his thoughts on what the running backs can do to try switch up the market. He says that it's not fair for the entire running back community to based off the average where there are outliers who headline the position group. In the second interview we sit down with the Chargers stud wide receivers, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. This convo is all over the place spanning from biggest try hards on the team to the difference between Herbert and Rivers as quarterbacks. They get into how Keenan felt when they drafted Mike in the first round and if there was any type of resentment towards Mike. Recorded: July 6th 2023 | On this weeks episode, Willy is back from his Italy trip and he gives us the full rundown on it all. He also gets into the full blown war he got into with Expedia and how he came out victorious. Will also gets into how his boss, Dave Portnoy, bought back Barstool for $1 and how massive that is. Recorded: July 17th 2023 | In this weeks intro, it's just the boy Taylor as Will is enjoying his time in Italy. Taylor gets into a tragedy that happened at the Lewan household and that Beer Olympics has dropped. Following the intro, the boys have one of the boys and Nashville comedian, Nate Bargatze. The boys get right into some of Nate’s old jobs that he had when he was a kid. One of the jobs that he hated actually made it onto an episode of Dirty Jobs. Then the boys get into how Nate started his comedy career. Instead of moving straight to New York from Nashville, he did a little time in Chicago before he finally decided to make the move to New York. Nate talks about the New York comedy scene and how crazy/overwhelming it can be as there are thousands of comedians trying to make it. He says fighting your way through the different types of comedy is how you really become good and is how you find your style/voice. Nate gets into some comedians he had a little bit of a run in with but has since ironed things out with. He tells the story of Louis CK publicly embarrassing him at a show and making fun of one of the jokes Nate told during his set. However, Nate says he was able to make sense of it all because at the time he had only been in comedy for 5 years. Nate talks about the different advice he gives to younger comedians which is interesting to hear. The boys end the pod talking about why Nate decided to be a clean comedian, why he decided to stop drinking and how good Scientology is at recruiting people. Recording: June 20th 2023 | The bangers keep on coming. This week we welcome the boy Foster Moreau back to the pod, and it's safe to say Foster has had one of the craziest offseasons of all NFL Players. If you are watching the video version, you will see that Taylor has gotten a new haircut, so the boys talk about why he decided to switch it up. Recorded: July 17th 2023 | On this week's episode the boys hit a quick intro because of how massive our guest is. They hit everyone’s favorite segments, Shoutout no free shoutout and Pet Peeve of the week so do not worry about missing those. Following the intro, the boys sit down with Head Coach of the Tennessee Titans, Mike Vrabel. Vrabes is one of the boys as he was one of the first guests of the show. The dynamic between Coach Vrabe’s and the boys is interesting as they have both played for him, yet they are all boys and bust each other's balls. The boys immediately get into Vrabel’s process of taking over the Titans. Will and Taylor have been very vocal in episodes before that they did not like Vrabel in his early years as a head coach. The boys bring that up to him again and Vrabel reflects on the growth he has had and what all he has learned since becoming a coach. Will and Taylor do not hold back on telling some hilarious stories about them being terrified to go into team meetings after a bad practice. The boys also address the biggest news from this past weekend as DeAndre Hopkins is signing with the Titans. They ask Vrabel what that process looked like trying to get a stud wide receiver like DHOP on the team. Vrabel also addresses the narrative of this season being a rebuild for Titans saying that he never looks at a season with that perspective. The dynamic and chemistry that these three have is so fun. They are able to have the serious football conversations but then are immediately able to switch it back joking on each other and trying to out Alpha the other. Vrabel made himself very comfortable on that coach as you’ll see throughout the episode. They reminisce on that day that was and all of the different things that had happened at the event. We recorded the intro 2 days after the Olympics and you can that Will and Taylor are still recovering a little bit. Following the intro the boy, Josh Allen, joins us on the bus again. The guys immediately get into Josh being the latest Madden cover athlete and what that whole process was like. Will asks him his thoughts on the Madden curse and if he thinks it will affect him this year. The boys then got into the Bills season last year and the ride that it was. Josh recaps the night of the Damar Hamlin incident and what that moment was like from a teammates perspective. He gets into how scary it all was and how the players were the ones who decided that they weren’t going to finish the game. Taylor then brings up some of the old matchups that the Titans and Bills have had. He talks about the COVID game in 2020 where the Titans didn’t practice all week but still were able to beat the Bills.
