Recorded: January 24th 2024 | In this week's episode we are joined by the man, the myth, the legend, Stu Feiner. He blessed us with his presence on Slips & Picks and following that, he hopped on the bus to chat with the boys. This whole pod really feels like story time Uncle Stu. The guys immediately get into it and start all the way from the beginning. Stu gives his life story from where he grew up, the struggles he had as a kid by getting bullied in school and the tough home life he had with his family. He gets into some crazy stories from his childhood and it seemed like he had some wild story from each grade growing up. Following his childhood, he dives into how he got into the sports gambling world and became the biggest sports picker in the country. Stu talks about why he decided he wanted to get into the gambling world and all of the different roadblocks that he ran into on his way to the top. He talks about how many lucky breaks he has had but also gets into the massive unlucky breaks he had, some including missing out on 10's of millions of dollars. As he is telling these stories from back in the day, you can't help but visualize everything that is happening and it almost makes it feel like he was a part of an old gangster/mafia movie. Some of the stories he gets into just seem unbelievable but they are most certainly true. Finally the guys get into the movie that was made about Stu "Two For The Money". He talks about the backstory in that movie getting made and how never saw anything from the movie, he wasn't even allowed to be at the premiere of the movie. After this interview, you can't help but think Stu is one of the most interesting people alive. Michael Chandler Says He Will "Decapitate" Conor McGregor + Doing Things Outside Of The UFC World
Recorded: January 9th 2023 | In this weeks episode, the boys are in Orlando to shoot a Sandbagger with the Spittin Chiclets guys. It is a shorter intro as the boys recap the NFL Divisional round from this past weekend. They spend the majority of the time talking about the Chiefs-Bills game as Will thinks the game was rigged in favor of the Chiefs. They also preview the Conference Championship games where it'll be the Lions vs. 49ers and the Chiefs vs. Ravens. The boys make a case for each time as to how they can make it to the Super Bowl. Following the intro, we sit down with one of the OG boys, Michael Chandler. Some massive news has come out of the UFC as Conor McGregor will be finally returning to the Octagon and his opponent will be, the boy Michael Chandler. He gets into the whirlwind of the last couple months for him dealing with Conor, the UFC and trying to nail down a date for this fight to happen. The guys get into the entire USADA drug testing process and why that was such a problem before along with what weight class they believe the fight will be at. Chandler wants it to be at 185 because he says it gives him is an advantage since he is more naturally at that weight. Mike gives his predictions on how he believes this fight will go, how many rounds, his game plan and they way he is going to break McGregor down. You can't help but feel a little juiced up after hearing what he has to say. They boys also get into some of the things that Chandler does outside of fighting. Mike hasn't fought in over a year but that doesn't mean he hasn't stayed busy. He just became a partner in Hiatus Tequila and he gets into the process behind the tequila business. He has some choice words about some other fighters alcohol that is out there, hint: it's an Irish whiskey. Chandler gets into how his entire life does not surround fighting, he isn't one of those guys who relies on a paycheck from the UFC as he is involved in more than just fighting. The boys finish the pod off answering another one of Mitch's terrible twisted questions and then get into the movie talk. We all know these three guys get along very well so it just feels like they are hanging out chopping it up. Derrick Henry's Future In The NFL + How Close He Was To Being Traded
In this week's episode we sit down with not only one of the boys but also the King, Derrick Henry. Derrick and the Titans just finished up their season and there are a lot of question marks surrounding Derrick's future with the team. So where else would he want to talk about his future than with the boys. Derrick and the guys first get into a lot of reminiscing from the last couple years on the team including times from Will was on the team. They talk about their run's that they had in 2019 and 2020. The game they had in Baltimore and how wild the atmosphere was, the game they had in Kansas City where Mahomes had that crazy run going into halftime. Some of the stories that the guys tell really just give you that vibe of a couple of old guys just reflecting on the good ole days. Following the reflection period, Will and Taylor ask him the question that everybody wants to know, what does the future look like for Derrick Henry? Derrick doesn't necessarily have an answer for that question. The biggest thing he was harping on was that he wants to win a Super Bowl and he isn't sure if that's a possibility with Tennessee. Derrick also gives us a glimpse into the crazy time period when everyone thought he was going to get traded. Overall, it's a great convo with a lot of reflection on some good times as well as looking to the times ahead.
