For me Pat is one of the most inspiring individuals when it comes to podcasting, dogcasting, interviewing and just recording while talking! Him and Glenn were the two first podcast hosts I have ever listenned to! Today I have my own tow podcast shows and finally you can meet one of "the makers" - Pat Stuart! Pat explains why it sometimes is smarter to walk instead of running somewhere. He gave me an amazing insight into his army time, also in his early times as a dogtrainer up to now. Pat Stuart today is an internationally know and respected dog trainer, speaker, podcast host and even a creative director of an other company.  Also he will answer Simon Prins' question from the previous episode and he left us an other one for our next interview, yet not knowing who will answer. HA! Simon Prins has ran through a breathtaking career. From being a diver in the military to becoming a police officer, taking over K9 projects within the police and SOF units. Then he also met Bob and Marian Bailey who became a big guidance in his own developement and he still is in touch with Bob. My first contact with Jerry was through listening to podcasts recommended by Jens Frank, probably in 2019 or in the beginning of 2020. Soon I found out about Jerry having his own show. Hearing him speak I learnt more and more about PSA, a sport that doesn't exsist here in Austria. Apart from that Jerry made numerous episodes where he speaks about all kinds of topics that were to me fairly new or just really interesting to hear new opinions, approaches etc., "Grip developement", "controlled aggression", "decoy training", "rules of PSA", ... While I was more and more interested into this guy from the USA, listening to his episodes and interviews with others like Pat Stuart and Glenn Cooke from the Canine Paradigm, I found out that this wasn't just a dog guy performing in the professional world. He is a business man who built a big training school for trainers, having employees, a training kennel, books, his own podcast, worldwide contracts, being active in dog sports (winning the nationals in PSA in 2020, again ...) and so on.  I had to talk to him to get to know him better, what a great guy! "Milk was a bad choice!" Armin already grew up with dogwork in Germany. When moving to Canada with his family he continued studying animals at his veterinary education in university, but then things came a little different soon. Years later, Armin lives with his wife and their dogs in the USA. His clients are foremost law enforcement and military working dogs units respectively their SF units, but he still does sport dog training in his club.  Being in the business for decades Armin did make it through some changes in dog training. Some of them he sees sceptic, others he had to learn the hard way. Asking himself what we would deal with "if your dog could talk" he changed things to the better in training, but not only concerning the animal welfare, Armin also has his work approved by active handlers on duty.  Apart from that, we found out that we both like to through around quotes from Anchor man and other movies or series, hahaha ...  Listen in to a great talk with Armin and Flo. After being in the dog business for decades you just have a lot to say. Pat Nolan was too kind and gave us a great insight in parts of what he has done and learnt so far. We could have gone for ever, but we know that Pat is a busy guy and his time is worth a lot. Graham is a retired police officer, K9 handler and trainer. He is THE European pioneer in establishing data device detection dog programs in the UK. Now Graham has his own company now - Precision K9 UK supports and trains canine LE and MWD units. He collaborates also with Tobias Gustavsson and Jens Frank, and hopefully will follow an invitation to Vienna in the future. Viviane ist eine für uns sehr beeindruckende Persönlichkeit. Sie macht das was sie machen möchte, wovon sie überzeugt ist, und das macht sie verdammt gut! Sie ist eine jener die viel Zeit mit Idolen wie Bob Bailey verbringen konnte und durch ihre offene Art ihr Wissen mit vielen von uns teilt. Mit wem sie heute zusammenarbeitet, überlässt sie jedoch nicht dem Zufall, das spart Kopfschmerzen und macht mehr Spaß - hört also rein, es gibt einiges zu lernen.
