03/08: Everything — and we mean everything — you need to know from Saturday, which was the best day of the season so far in college basketball

College basketball's final Saturday of the regular season was led with the first two of what will be 68 teams into the NCAA Tournament. Congrats to Utah State and Belmont for officially earning their way in. This special Sunday morning podcast touches on 20-plus games/results on a loaded Saturday, the first 45 minutes of which involve Gary Parrish and Matt Norlander zipping around the country and giving their thoughts on the biggest wins, worst losses, seed shifts, bubble movement. If the game was interesting or meant something, it's mentioned in the first 45 minutes. After that, the guys talk No. 1 seeds (48:45) and close up with a discussion on Archie Miller (59:30) putting on a rant against bracketologists, which was misguided and ripe for criticism, but did have at least one positive takeaway. We’re giving you a little early present for the weekend: the Friday pod late on a Thursday night. Parrish and Norlander turn their attention to the SEC, how many bids and where those teams will be seeded (29:30) before an always-entertaining Final Four + 1 (36:45) picks segment that as always takes some unexpected turns. Last weekend of the regular season, folks. 03/04: Kentucky blows it, Michigan State comes together, Maryland comes apart, and two amazing stories: UVM's Josh Speidel and Jackson State's "Snacks" Lee

It's a special loaded hump day edition of the pod. Tuesday night brought a litany of interesting stories, big results and major talking points. The ep leads with Kentucky folding shockingly against Tennessee, then delves into all things Big Ten (11:15), including Rutgers' ever-intriguing NCAA Tournament case after it beat Maryland. The Terps are in a four-way tie in the loss column atop the league, now sharing space with Michigan State (24:30) and Norlander has a scoop on a meeting between Tom Izzo and Cassius Winston that may change Sparty's season. Earlier this week, Coach k (38:15) made headlines again because of some postgame comments. And there are the two wonderful stories that bookended Tuesday (49:20): the rotund Jackson State manager who cashed a 3 and won SWAC Player of the Week, and Vermont's Josh Spiedel, who played his first minutes of his college career on senior night and scored Vermont's first points. Incredible stuff, and the pod covers all that and plenty more, because there's also the weekly listener mailbag to wrap this ep.Eye on College Basketball' is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Castbox, Bullhorn and wherever you listen to podcasts. Follow our hosts on Twitter: @GaryParrishCBS, @MattNorlanderFor more college basketball coverage from CBS Sports, visit https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/To hear more from the CBS Sports Podcast Network, visit https://www.cbssports.com/podcasts/ To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. 03/01: The greatest month ever invented is officially back. HELLO, MARCH!

More than 10 ranked teams fell over the weekend, including Maryland’s first home loss of the season, which came to Michigan State. Since Norlander as on the scene, he and Parrish open on that and have a hefty discussion on the teams before moving on to Kentucky (26:30) beating Auburn, UCLA (36:30) continuing one of the most unpredictable in-season turnarounds ever and all those top-10 teams losing (49:30), led by Duke, which is somehow still refusing to fall in multiple metrics. There’s a lot more sprinkled into one of the longest podcasts of the season. A lot happened, and of course, check the calendar. It’s here. It’s back. Eye on College Basketball' is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Castbox, Bullhorn and wherever you listen to podcasts. 02/28: UCLA beats Arizona State, USC beats Arizona, which means .... five-bid Pac-12?

UCLA’s last-second win vs. Arizona State was a great thing that capped off a good night for the Pac-12. You bet the weekend-preview pod starts with some West Coast love. The guys touch on the Bruins, Mick Cronin quickly catching up to John Wooden and USC getting past Arizona before moving on to Big Ten (20:40), which includes Maryland’s come-from-behind win at Minnesota that led to Mark Turgeon taking issue with a late tip time, and sparking a rivalry between Turgeon and … Chris Holtmann?! Then it’s on to Wisconsin (32:20), which has a shot at the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten tourney and has been a top-10 team in the past month. The weekend picks start around the 41-minute mark and include some unexpected player-arena names. Enjoy; this is the last podcast before March arrives! Eye on College Basketball' is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Castbox, Bullhorn and wherever you listen to podcasts. 02/26: Duke's chances at a No. 1 seed are (likely) done; the story behind the Big Ten becoming the best league in college hoops

Duke has now taken losses to at least three teams, and maybe four, that will not make the NCAA Tournament. Tuesday night's L to Wake Forest probably eliminated the Blue Devils' chances at 1 seeds in back-to-back years. The pod opens on that, and Wake, and then gets to Norlander's story and reporting on how the Big Ten (20:00) went from just-OK to the best conference in college hoops. It's in an interesting inside look on the change to 20-game schedules. From there, Pac-12 (35:00) chatter. Specifically, Arizona State-UCLA becoming one of the biggest games of the week, an recognition of the best player in college basketball, Oregon's Sabrina Ionescu. The pod wraps with the listener mailbag (49:30), leading with which senior will become the best NBA player. 02/23: Kansas beats Baylor, becomes universal No. 1; Baylor, Gonzaga, San Diego State, Maryland all have huge streaks snapped

No. 3 Kansas will become No. 1 Kansas when the polls update Monday. Norlander, back from Waco, recaps the scene and details with Parrish the good from a huge matchup just about matching the hype. The guys have plenty to discuss after that weekend, though, so BYU, Gonzaga and Maryland (29:20) all get some run before it’s time to discuss San Diego State (44:45) having its undefeated season end … OR DID IT? There has to be some bubble talk as well, so shouts to Indiana, Providence, Memphis, Cincinnati and UCLA (57:00) for grabbing significant wins. And if you found yourself laughing during the intro — and we suspect you did — if you haven’t already, do rate and review the pod ASAP. Five stars and nice comments!'Eye on College Basketball' is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Castbox and wherever you listen to podcasts. 02/21: Live from Waco, a preview of the biggest game so far this season: Kansas at Baylor

Matt Norlander is in Waco for No. 3 Kansas at No. 1 Baylor. The Friday preview pod opens with GP and Norlander looking at Duke’s chances of still getting a No. 1 seed despite losing at NC State — with some NC State thoughts too! — before moving on to give a hearty, reported-out preview of KU-Baylor (21:30). The guys close with a long look ahead to the weekend (39:00) by making their picks for the Final Four + 1. Did you realize you have to win at least six games to win the NCAA Tournament? 'Eye on College Basketball' is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Castbox and wherever you listen to podcasts. 02/19: John Beilein and Cavaliers' breakup has college basketball's coaching carousel ready start spinning; Creighton a Final Four dark horse

John Beilein has parted ways with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to a report late Tuesday night from ESPN. Obviously Beilein becomes the No. 1 coaching target in college, but what are the chances he wants to return to choops? Gary Parrish and Matt Norlander open with their theories on that, then get to some of the biggest items from Tuesday night: Creighton beating Marquette (21:00), Baylor setting a Big 12 record (29:00) along with some talk of Kansas, and some quick love to Dayton and Maryland. The guys wrap with the listener mailbag (33:00), which includes questions about NC State, UNC and college hoops TV scheduling.'Eye on College Basketball' is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Castbox and wherever you listen to podcasts.
