(3:30) People tend to quit going to the gym after only two weeks or so after signing up. They use excuses even though they feel better while exercising. DOMS (delayed-onset muscle soreness) is another reason people stop. (10:00) This feeling will happen less and less as you become more consistent and stronger. Start where you are and work up—you don't need to go hard right away. (15:00) Don't be intimidated by others and where they are in their journey. You don't have to go to a gym all the time. If you don't have time for the gym, try some body-weight exercises. (22:30) When to eat protein and how much? (32:00) In general: 120-150g per day for average-height men, for average-height women, 85g-120g per day. (32:00) It's OK if you go a little over on some days. Eating something in the morning boosts your metabolism. However, it doesn't take much. What about sleep and recovery? (36:00) How to become disciplined? (39:00) A lot of it is attitude, and your attitude can change. How do you know when you are doing enough, especially when you hit a "plateau"?
