Life is hard. Whether we want to admit it or not, we need help from others. The call for the church is to be a people who carry one another to Jesus, finding healing, identity, and strength together in Him!

Our greatest call is to serve one another, we do that best in small groups. Let’s discover how Jesus commands us to love one another in this way.

Community is what each of us has been created for and community is necessary for human flourishing. Community is where the irrational commitment to the well-being of its members is happening. However, you don’t just drift into community. It takes intentionality, making it a priority, and being committed to community. To know and experience an authentic and vibrant Christian community is to be loved and a community of loving people is God’s signature.

Forming deep relationships is hard. This sermon will unpack Hebrews 10:19-25 and show how enduring faith is often connected to enduring Kingdom relationships. We will dissect some of the biggest barriers to forming community and give practical advice on how to overcome these barriers and form kingdom friendships that are anchored in the calling of God on your life.

We live in a world that highly values individualism and we often assume that Jesus does too. However, Scripture makes it clear that our deepest transformation happens in the context of community.

So many of us view church as optional. When the schedule works out or when we need a spiritual pick-me-up, it’s a good place to pop-in. But Jesus had something entirely different and much better in mind when he started building the Church – He was starting a new family.

Peculiar is not a label any of us wants to use for ourselves, but God actually uses it to describe everyone who has found Life in His son and has become His very own. Peculiar in that case means uncommon, special, and filled with the contagious love of God. It’s this “peculiar” design that is at the heart of God using us all to change our world!
