Isabel Millar is a PhD candidate in Lacanian psychoanalysis, cultural theory and contemporary philosophy in the School of Arts, Culture and Communication at Kingston University. Her research is on the later Lacan, Artificial Intelligence and the body. She is also a comedy screenwriter. Her PhD thesis project is called "Extimacy: Sex-Bots between Fantasy and Ontology". She will be presenting at The Courtauld Institute of Art for their conference "Imagining the Apocalypse".
