Louis Armand de Lom d'Arce de Lahontan

Louis-Armand de Lom d'Arce, Baron de Lahontan, was a French soldier and author who traveled extensively in New France (present-day Canada) in the late 17th century. He is best known for his accounts of his travels and his observations of the Indigenous peoples of North America.
