

Alexander Alexandrovich Zinoviev
Alexander Zinoviev was a Soviet philosopher, writer, sociologist, and journalist. Born on October 29, 1922, he was a prominent figure in the rebirth of philosophical thought in the Soviet Union. He was expelled from the Soviet Union in 1978 and lived in exile in Munich until his return to Russia in 1999. Zinoviev is known for his critical views on Soviet society and his unique genre of 'sociological novels'. He passed away on May 10, 2006.
