Kayla Rasmussen is the mother of two little boys who knows what it's like to live a life of transience. She and her husband have lived in Texas, Africa, Illinois, and now Washington D.C. in just a few short years. Through this experience she has learned a lot about herself and her need for different relationships in her life. She is learning how to make friendships quickly and shares some ideas for how to do that (easier said than done!). Because of her honesty with herself and seeking resources and tools, Kayla is truly thriving - growing! - in motherhood with the challenges and circumstances of her life.
