Hattie Thomas Whitehead is a first-descendent of the historic Athens black neighborhood 'Linnentown' that was erased in the name of urban renewal in order to expand UGA's campus. She tells the story of Linnentown and how she and a small group of seniors were able to pass the first act of reparations in the state of Georgia.
