I am sorry.
- For every day I leave You behind.
- For shutting You out.
- Taking You for granted.
I don't know why I abandon Your love. You give it freely yet You don't owe me anything.
How is it that I can mess things up so easily?
I'm sorry when I just go through the motions. I'm sorry that I ignore Your call. I'm sorry for pushing my agenda. I'm sorry for overstepping the boundaries.
What I do know is that I need You more and more every day. Not just when a crisis occurs, but in my every day.
Search me, O Lord. As I sit at your feet in this holy moment, quiet and alert, nothing else will do but You. All I want is to know you more. Your presence is my comfort.

Have you been calling on God only when You need Him? He wants to hear your cries, but He also wants to know your celebrations.
So much of our days are spent controlling what we want and figuring out how we are going to get it. We coordinate our every minute leaving the beat of our heart behind; the spirit of life.
Let God in more than just for a moment. Be willing to sit at His feet waiting patiently on His direction. Talk to Him more rather than demanding answers. Create a holy moment where you're caught in His presence.
