In this episode I have a conversation with Dr. Edison de Mello, CEO of the Akasha Center for Integrative Medicine and founder of the supplement company Akasha Naturals. We talk about the toxicity in our modern environment and food supply and why it's important to consider taking various supplements if you want to do more than just barely survive. We also talk a lot about the supplementation industry and why it's important to know where your supplements come from. Our conversation is mostly "big picture" but we do talk specifically about two essential supplements for those who want to thrive: Vitamin D and Omega-3 fish oils.
