This week on Black on Black Cinema, the guys are back to review the newly released film, First Match. The story follows a young girl named Mo(nique) who's tough exterior and bravado are nothing but merely a cover for her harsh lifestyle of foster care and estrangement from her father due to his prison time. When she discovers that he is out of prison she seeks to connect with him via his high school passion for wrestling. When joining her school's team she hopes to connect with him on a deeper level and set her life back on the right path going forward. The film stars Elvire Emanuelle, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Colman Domingo, Jharrel Jerome, and Jared Kemp.
